Wi-Fi broadband connection is available free of charge at the eateries, along the beach and in the main plaza.
Buses here are frequent, and we have the 9S bus that goes directly to DB North large grocery store and to the clubhouse at Siena near the new Hotel. Currently you can claim back the bus fare at DB North next to the supermarket on your return trip.
The number 7 bus takes you to the main DB Plaza and bus terminus where the airport bus is located.
If you are coming from the airport, then go to Terminal 2 where there is a 20-25 minute airport shuttle bus service no. DB02R that takes you to Discovery Bay for HK$35 for a single trip.
You can also approach the information desk to obtain an Octopus card, that is a stored value card for public transport around HK.
From Tung Chung Citygate Bus Station to DB, hop onto DB01R for the 15-minute ride costing HK$10 one-way.
From Sunny Bay MTR Station to DB, catch DB03R for the 15-minute ride costing HK$10 one-way.
How to get to Disney:-
From Discovery Bay, you can catch the bus DB03R to Sunny Bay MTR Station, a 15-minute ride costing HK$10 one-way.
There will be a 'Mickey Mouse' train waiting at Sunny Bay MTR Station that takes another 5-10 minutes ride to the Disneyland entrance.
All buses are air-conditioned a welcome perk especially during Hongkongs sweltering summers and run regularly at 20-minute intervals for DB01R and DB03R and every 30 minutes for the airport shutle bus service no. DB02R.
The buses in DB are linked or aligned to arrivals and departures of most public transport systems to provide an integrated system for efficiency and convenience for the residents.
If there are buses and ferries arriving, or departing from DB, then there will be connecting buses to take residents to various villages.
So basically, the buses and ferries run 24 hours, and so do the hire cars with the station based at the bus terminus next to 7-Eleven that takes you anywhere in DB for HK$20 for a single journey, and HK$30 after midnight, and you can also call them on the 24 hour hotline to come pick you up, or drop you off at any location in DB.
