Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
We moved from the bay area 11yrs ago and have not looked back
Owner purchased this Apartment in 2001
Why Owner chose Kings Heights
One day we went on a field trip with the kids class to the coast and played in the tide pools and later in the day were at the stream in the mountains after picking up excellent food in the city on our way up. Enough said.
What makes this Apartment unique
You can enjoy as much city as you can handle or if you wish walk right up the road and be in Forest Park and completely isolated, fantastic.

Great Portland stay
This apt was in s great location. We walked to Washington Park, restaurants nearby and a dog park.
We had a great stay at Denny's and they were very nice and accomodating. Unfortunately, my husband's FJ Toyota had the back passenger side window smashed in, in the middle of the day and they grabbed the first thing that would fit through, which was unfortunately his favorite emergency back pack that he keeps stored in the back of his truck. Lesson learned - leave absolutely nothing in your vehicle whilst parked on the streets of Portland, even in a nice neighborhood.
Great location, comfortable home
Stylish and comfortable. Would stay here again.
Great property with all the conveniences just a couple blocks from neighborhood happenings
My wife and I were there for the Indy Grand Prix weekend and enjoyed close proximity to the track. All the neighborhood shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Unit is very comfortable with full kitchen and in unit laundry. Lovely 2 level industrial style unit. Denny was a wonderful host tending to any need that might arise and generous with information about the local scene. We had a great time and would stay at this property again. Jeff and Joanie
Tastefully finished, conveniently located
Nicely furnished apartment (private entry on lower level of older, well-maintained home in nice neighborhood) that is both off-the-beaten path yet close-in to downtown. Very cool plank floors, exposed concrete, and other urban-vibe finishes throughout. It is also just a few minute drive from Macleay Park, which connects to Forest Park (largest urban park in the country). We went running each day on incredible forested trails from various points of entry. We walked to Powells Books and other points downtown, but there are a number of high-end stores and good restaurants just a few minute walk from the apartment. Japanese Gardens and Rose Gardens are also a fairly short walk away. Owners were super helpful on the couple of occasions I needed assistance. Overall: a winner!
Beautiful Rustic Industrial Contemporary Apartment
This happens to be my favorite place of all VRBOs. Very comfortable, very attractive finishes of stressed, salvaged wood and exposed concrete. Lots of light and pleasant outlooks through the windows. Thoughtful touches, elegant bathroom with two sinks, small private yard for the dog's morning potty, quiet neighborhood within blocks of shopping and restaurants on NW 23rd. Downsides are about 10 steps up without a handrail to the gate, and a fairly steep, brief downhill to the apartment. This is only an issue if one is physically challenged. Crossing the street as a pedestrian in this neighborhood feels like a threat to physical safety. The apartment is comfortable, has lots of storage spaces, beautiful lighting on dimmers, and plenty of electronics and videos for all.
Thanks so much for your stay.....I actually just finished the fabrication for the handrail and it will be installed in a week! Sorry about that, I was totally overtaken with the holidays and was shooting for it to be done before winter hit. Yes being a pedestrian in Portland has become a challenge. We are having such huge growth and the addition of an army of Uber/Lyft drivers leaves you on the defensive. Hopefully this wont keep you away for a future stay but I am very glad you brought this to our attention.
Thanks again for your stay.
