Our condo is fully furnished with luxurious sheets, original oil paintings of Village scenes, bamboo hardwood floors and lots of fun touches that will make a difference in your stay. We re-invest in our condo every year to keep it up to date and exciting for our guests so they’ll want to return.
Unit 49 is located in the quietest part of the Glacier's Reach complex: facing the tennis courts away from the noise of the roads and out of earshot of the inner complex swimming pool area. Glacier's Reach is just across the street from Market Place, home of a grocery store, a liquor store, a pharmacy, the post office, and many other shops and restaurants. Use the free bus service in front of Market Place to get you to the lifts--it comes by every ten minutes, or just do as we do and walk through the village to the lifts which takes 10 to 15 minutes (unless you have children--then all bets are off as they'll want to stop and play at the outdoor play area).
About the layout. The Glacier's Reach complex consists of 3 story town homes. Our corner unit faces north, away from the street and the inner courtyard and has views of Wedge Mountain. Our condo is on the 2nd and 3rd floors, on entering our unit one is met with a coat closet and a stair case, we ask that shoes be removed at this point. The second floor consists of a kitchen, a living room with a gas fireplace and a 40" TV, a bedroom and a bath, the two sofas in the living room are convertible beds. The bedroom features two twin beds that have been combined into a king bed (and can be split back into 2 single beds). On leaving this main space and heading upstairs one walks past a little bonus loft that holds a single futon--there is a little TV and an X-box and our niece Katie has named this space the X-box loft. At the top of the stairs there is a 2nd bedroom with a queen sized bed and a second bathroom.
Complex Amenities include Year-round Swimming Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, and Free Secure Underground Parking.

- Our condo is on the second and third floors in the complex. The main floor has one bedroom with a King sized bed that can 'split' into 2 single beds. The living room has two sofas that convert into beds. As you go upstairs to the 3rd floor there is a little bonus space that our niece has nick named the 'X-box loft' it has futon sofa, a tv, and a bunch of x-box games. I sometimes sleep there when it rains hard because the rain on a metal roof can keep me awake. Past the loft is the proper 3rd floor which has a little hall with a refrigerator, a hotplate and a coffee maker and access to a bedroom and a bathroom. Why the Owner Chose Village North, Whistler Village, Whistler, BC, Canada:
We chose Glacier's Reach for convenience. We can walk into the Village. We walk across the street, past the bus stop and the free bus shuttle--it goes by every 10 minutes but why bother when the walk to the lifts takes only 10 minutes. Our condo is out of the noisy center of town, located on the northern edge of the Glacier's Reach Complex facing the tennis courts. Why did we buy a second home in Whistler? Because this is the best place in the world!
