This wonderful 2,200 square feet beach home is in a great location!! Located right on Ocean Blvd, you have access to all Isle of Palms has to offer and within easy walking distance!! Enjoy our great local restaurants, ice cream shops, beach shopping, county park, and more! The handicap beach access is also nearby - about one block away!!

This home is equipped with everything you need for a memorable, relaxing vacation. Recent renovations make this home a wonderful family vacation home and at a very reasonable cost! The living room features a large flat screen TV, Surround Sound, DVD Player, and CD Player. This room leads into the fully-equipped, renovated kitchen with all new appliances, granite counter tops, tile, and more! The Living Room also has all new hardwood flooring! This beach home is kept up very well by our owners and which includes professional landscaping!! This all opens up onto your private, covered deck with plenty of comfortable seating including a picnic table; there are also lounge chairs to soak up the sun! This house also features wireless internet, Flat Screen TVs in all bedrooms, gas grill, outdoor beach shower, and a laundry room with washer / dryer. This home also has a large, 3/4 fenced backyard!!

Bed Layout is as follows...Main Level:Bedroom #1 with queen bed, flat screen TV, and Private Bath with double vanity sinks.Bedroom #2 with 2 queen beds and full hall bath (updated with granite and nice tile!).Upper Level:Oceanfront Master with King bed, TV, and private bath. This room also opens up into a nice sitting area and which also leads out onto the upper deck - - offering gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean!Bedroom #4 with King bed, TV, and private bath (completely redone to include nice tile and vanity!).Bedroom #5 with Queen bed, TV, and full private bath with double vanity sinks!

ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! Great location and clean, cute house!

Overall the house we rented was a great value - great location, right across from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. The house was clean and had plenty of room. My only recommendation is that the bathrooms in the house be updated. The one on the main floor was done very nicely but the others need to be gutted and updated - it would really make a world of difference.

Great size and nice location for Isle of Palms beach, but with a few caveats.

For the most part, the family enjoyed the property and its surroundings. Having the big grassy area was a feature that attracted us to the house, because some enjoy volleyball. The lovely backyard, however, was not usable, because of mosquito infestation. Even using DEET repellents did not work. We emailed the realty company early in the week, and requested remedy, as we had seen "mosquito squad" signs around the area. We received NO RESPONSE from them at all.

We installed a portable volleyball net, and ribbon boundaries, as we awaited response from Carroll Realty. We actually believed they would respond, since it was an expensive rental. Meanwhile, the lawn service people came unannounced, and proceeded to tear down the court and leave it in a tangled mess. Very irritating! It took three people an hour or more to untangle it and some of the mounting stakes were never found.

The house has had some remodeling, but some remains to be done. Several of the bathrooms are dated, with cracked tiles, dirty grout, and poor fixtures. For example, the toilet paper holder in the main master bathroom is coming loose from the wall. There is dirt and dust evident on light fixtures. And yet, we were threatened with "penalties" if we did not remove trash, run the dishwasher, and clean the grill (by the way, there were no grill tools to speak of. We had to use a kitchen spatula to turn our fresh fish on the grill!) The threat of these petty "penalties" on such an expensive property was really annoying.

Once again, the house has much to offer is size and location. But we must downgrade it for its deficiencies, especially given what the rental fee was. And, if there weren't a way to address the mosquito problem, which really was a big deal, we might have understood, had we received a response from Carroll Realty.

Grant location and venue

We have rented in IoP for several years and this was the best house for 5 couples to stay in. All had private bathroom and plenty of room to spread out before and after the CRB race. Would highly recommend this unit.

Perfect location!

This house was perfect for a long weekend girls getaway! It was a 2 minute walk to the beach and to the shops on IoP. It's also a short drive from downtown Charleston!

Awesome House

Spent 3 days here over Thanksgiving Break with 2 other families (11 people total) and the 5 kids loved it with the amount of room we had and how close it was to the beach. Was kind of cool to enjoy the deck at night but it offered up nice views of the ocean. No complaints with anything inside the house in terms of furniture, bedroom set up or # of bathrooms. Was very clean upon entering the house when checking in. Would definately stay here again.

Family beach vacation

Beautiful, comfortable home. Cozy, yet spacious. Privacy between rooms was excellent. The noise did not carry, etc. Excellent for families with infants and small children with regard to noise insulation as well as close proximity to downtown as well as beach access. Everyone was very pleased. Property was accommodating regarding availability and rate as well as extended checkout time. Thank you for helping to make our family vacation a success!
