Great beach condo for families on a budget. This place is just across street from the beach and has a view of The Gulf of Mexico from its large balcony/deck. You will have your own assigned/covered parking spot. The bedroom has a king bed with new bedding, and the sofa pulls out to accommodate two guests or kids. There is a TV in the living area with cable. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, plates, glasses, and everything you need to prepare a great meal with family. The complex offers an outdoor pool where you can cool off and there are also onsite laundry facilities. You have access the beautiful beaches just across Beach Blvd. There are restaurants, parks, shopping centers, and many other fun activities nearby. There is a small grocery store just down the street for snacks and supplies. Free parking! We also have unit #9 in this complex.

Moonraker #1 was a nice place to relax. The Staff at Poole and Associates was excellent to deal with. The unit was very clean and was very quiet. Just across the street from the beach. I would refer this unit to a friend.

Location, location, location. The MoonRaker was a great place to stay in walking distance for hangout. It's about 15-20 minute walk. Quiet, clean, and perfect.

Directly across from the beach and has beach access but a hassle if you have small children. They provide plenty of linen and there is a descent size porch/ balcony but no privacy. There is a sign in the living room that says "no smoking" but there was an entire bucket of cigarette buds on the balcony. The couch is torn and needs to be replaced along with a few other broken items such as dresser mirror, closet door, etc. The pool area had areas of broken gating/ fencing that was taped off by caution tape... Again, not good for children. There is no iron or ironing board. It smelt stale the moment we walked in to the point that we went to Dollar General and bought air fresheners. It definitely needs to be renovated but it is a fair price for your money considering what you are getting. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap (no dishwasher), etc.

Owner's Response: The unit is across the street from the beach and offers a good budget alternative to the pricier beach side units. We are sorry to hear that the cleaner missed the cigarette butts on the balcony where smoking is allowed by the owner - the no smoking sign is for the inside of the unit. We have brought the pool issues to the attention of the association and they should be getting them taken care of. We hope to see you back again soon for another vacation her in Gulf Shores.

Prefect Small Getaway

My Husband and I surprised our two children with a trip this year. This condo was perfect for the four of us. I can see that the owners have been working towards repairs from previous reviews. We had excellent customer service when we called to have one minor repair (a light tightened.) The pool is clean, and the walk to the beach is literally across the street. I'm not sure that you can book anything in Gulf Shores for such great prices.

Conveniently located!

My 17-year-old daughter and I stayed in this unit for three nights and found it to be very convenient to the beach, just a short walk across the street and we are on the lovely white sand and enjoying the ocean. The unit was extremely clean and had everything we needed. And the location of the unit was nice because it is on just a two-lane street which made it easy to access the beach as well as come and go from the unit.

4th of July stay

Moonraker room #1 was clean and "ok" for our stay. The things I didn't like was there were no bowls with lids to store our left over food in so I went to Walmart and had to buy a set - that I lift there for the next person. We had planned to have garlic bread one night but could not find a pan, cookie sheet - nothing to put the bread on to heat nor any tin foil.

I have stayed in gulf shores the last several years but have always stayed on the water side in one of the larger condos. They have always had "everything" you could possibly need and more. I even leave things for the next guest - that what everyone does. Like any unused dish detergent, trash bags, paper towels etc. So to go into a place that had almost nothing was a shock! I would more than likely not stay here again.

Owner's Response: Sorry to hear that you did not have everything that you needed. The laws have changed over the years and due to health and safety concerns we are not allowed to leave any opened food, cleaners, or paper products in the unit. I know that most people have the best intentions when they leave things, but it only took a few bad apples to ruin it for everyone. We hope you would reconsider and come stay with us again.

Very nice spot for a simple getaway!

This place has everything a couple could want in a vacation condo, staff was very nice and presentable. Softest carpet in the world, very clean. Can't really tell if you drag sand through the condo. The staff provided us with plenty of towels, trash bags, and dishes. Perfect place with a beautiful view across the street to the ocean!
