About Connie Reid

We love our Lake House and the View! We bought this house because we both grew up on a lake and wanted our children to experience all the awesome fun and memories that we have! We hope your family enjoys those same memories!

Connie Reid purchased this house in 2005

Why Connie Reid chose Metro Atlanta, Central & Southern

The home has a great view and is also very peaceful and private. Lake Sinclair is a wonderful, uncrowded lake that always maintains a good water level and the private covered dock is stationary (not a floating dock). We also have wonderful neighbors!

What makes this house unique

We LOVE the front porch! Our yard is very large and great for privacy and kids to play. We also love the swimming area in the lake. The water is calm, warm, and safe for swimming and playing in the water.

Great Lake Vacation !

  • 4 of 5

My wife and two adult sons had a wonderful time. Everything was as described and use of the boat made our stay worth every penny and we loved the convenience and private dock. The owner was extremely accommodating as our vacation was impacted by a tropical storm crossing our home. We delayed our arrival and that was not a problem. The only negative was some tree cutting on the lot next door that disturbed some peace and quite; otherwise a nice time at the lake. Thanks Connie!!!

Great location

  • 4 of 5

Really enjoyed our time at lake. Weather was great. Only suggestion would be an outside trash can to store garbage when trash site is closed so critters don't get into it. Had a great time at goat island and rented jet skis for a day.

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

I just can't stress enough how much my family and I enjoyed staying here. At 1st I was worried because it was 40minutes to Wal-Mart, but that turned into an asset because I wasn't running back and forth to the store. When I got there on Thursday, I didn't leave until Tuesday. I am still mad that I forgot to see what kind of mattress was on the king sized bed. I have had multiple back surgeries and I had some of the best sleep I have had in years. There was plenty of room for everyone and all of our supplies and lake toys. I will treasure the memories made there and I can't wait to go back. Oh I forgot to mention the lightning bugs, I loved seeing them in the evening, it reminded me of my childhood and it was the 1st time some of the little ones had seen them. They were fascinated. The owners were great to deal with and everything was very well maintained. I had never ridden a pontoon boat before and l loved it- I am so grateful for the opportunity. The only problem is that now I want a lake house.

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

Our time at the house was great. It was just like it was described. House was very clean. The slope down to the dock was gentle enough that both or my young daughters could walk it. The property is located on a very quiet cove that is also very close to an island with a few beaches on it. Stan, the guy who goes over the boat was awesome!

Very Nice!

  • 4 of 5

The house was comfortable, clean and had everything that it claimed. The king sized bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. We really enjoyed the peaceful quiet on the deck. It was a great break from our overly busy lives. We enjoyed just sitting and listen to the birds and the sounds of nature in the mornings and evenings. It was amazing to feel the difference in temperatures from the shade of the covered deck and large trees to the sunshine as it moved across the clear blue sky. The pontoon was great. It is bigger and has a more powerful motor than ours. It handled all the wind and white caps we experienced on the big water with ease and still creating a smooth ride. (There was a weather front going through when we were there creating a lot of wind.) We are use to 15 to 30 minute commutes so the drive into Milledgeville to go shopping was not a big deal. Some of the grocery store have some very low prices. We ate most of our meals on the deck at the house. The gas grill and stove worked flawlessly. We found the property manager and the locals to be very friendly and helpful. Now that we have a little experience with early April condition and the beautiful azaleas in bloom we would like to return in late summer to get a true idea summer heat and humidity. Possibly next year. The hillside the house sits on gave a great view, our friends made many comments about it on facebook. We have already made referrals to some of them and our son. We will continue to look at this area as a possible place to retire to in a couple of years.

Time at the lake

We had a great time at this property. The house was very clean and comfortable. Having use of the pontoon boat made it even better. Connie was absolutely great to work with. We would definitely return in the future.
