Let's begin on the lanai, because this is where you'll want to be first thing in the morning (as well as last thing at night and many times during the day!). With views and breezes in two directions, this screened-in balcony brings you all the warm sunshine and zesty scents of the Florida landscape. Sit out here with a cup of coffee and your smartphone (you have free wireless at Tidelands Sunshine Condo), or dine al fresco at the casual table. It's so peaceful and lovely.

Step inside from the lanai and you'll immediately see why we named this condo Sunshine. Glowing golden walls, soft lighting, and a pleasing sense of spaciousness define the living room. Sink down onto the comfy couch or kick back in one of the recliners. --Then, when you wake from your impromptu nap, check out the large HDTV with Blu-ray and Internet connectivity, boasting 250+ channels and access to Netflix, Hulu, and other apps. Or pop one of the 400+ movies from our library into the DVD player!

Just beyond the living room is the kitchen area, complete with breakfast bar. Granite countertops, sparkling new appliances, tiled flooring, and wooden cabinetry are all features, but the one you may like most is the water view through the sliding glass doors. Even when you're working at the sink, you have million-dollar views! And the kitchen is completely equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, gadgets, and all the time-savers that get out on your way quicker: microwave, icemaker, coffeemaker, blender, and dishwasher.

The dining table is set in a sun-splashed corner of the kitchen, perfect not only for meals but for board games, puzzles, and laptops. Separate from the main action of the living/dining area, it's also a great place for a quiet chat or a calming pre-bedtime activity for the kids.

A good vacation begins with a great night's sleep, and everyone in your group will look forward to retiring to their beds at Tidelands Sunshine Condo. Every bed not only has a good mattress, but is topped with therapeutic memory foam for extra-sweet dreams. We provide all the linens and towels for every bed and bath at the condo, and you'll find them soft and very comfy. Total relaxation is the goal!

The master suite is the piece de resistance at Tidelands Sunshine. Here you'll find a king-sized bed in a huge room, with a TV/DVD player and private access to the lanai. The en-suite bath contains dual vanities and a large walk-in shower. Spacious, beautifully decorated, and serene, it is a wonderful place to fall asleep each night and wake up refreshed.

There are 2 more bedrooms at Tidelands Sunshine Condo: one with a queen bed, the other with 2 sets of bunkbeds, and both with their own TVs. The bunkbed room sleeps 4, and is a paradise for children, with its clubhouse feel; these bedrooms share the second full bath, which has both a shower and tub option. There's even a laundry room at the condo, with a full-sized washer/dryer for your use.

Best of all is the location itself. The Tidelands resort is beautifully integrated into the natural landscape, with fully half of its grounds left magnificently wild. A bird-watcher's paradise, it is filled with hiking and biking trails, great vantage points, and unexpected beauty spots. The complex includes a clubhouse with fitness center, tennis courts, game rooms, swimming pools, and a spa.

Good but could be Better

We are very experienced traveller as a family and we go on long vacations every year. We always rent vacation homes or condos because it gives us more room to spread out. I believe this property could do a few inexpensive things to improve the guest experience. <br/><br/>1. The bathroom towels were very few and the quailty of most towels were not very good. <br/>2. The kitchen was not supplied very well for cooking. I also think there could have been real glasses (only plastic cups were provided). <br/>3. I believe it would cost $50-$100 to provide beach/pool towels. <br/><br/>Also, we requested to have an slightly earlier check in (Noon vs. 3 PM), but were told this was not possible and we would have to pay for a whole extra day and that checking-in early would cause a lot of extra work for maintance to check us in. In reality, the check-in process was very easy - there was no personal contact, just codes to enter. In addition, it was obvious that no one had done a walk through the day of our arrival or even a few days before our arrival. There had been a storm a few days before our arrival and the patio furniture was still in disarray with cushion stuffings coming out, candles turned over on the floor and a dirty ashtray in the corner. So, there was no check-in process with that would have caused extra work. <br/><br/>Lastly, there was NO information about the surrounding area provided in the unit. It is common to have a small binder with some info on local restaurants, attractions, etc.<br/><br/>For the premium price of renting through VRP I expected more. If I had gone through an individual I would have paid a lot less for the same experience.

Fantastic Tropical Condo

We had an amazing time at 765 Cinnamon Beach. Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings beautiful. The view of the beach and ocean from this corner unit is spectacular. The grandchildren loved the water playground and beach. It was very relaxing spending time on the balcony with its comfortable sofas and lounge chairs. The only issue we had was a realtor opened our front door before I could get to the door. She wanted to show the unit. I was surprised that she had our door code. It made me feel a little unsafe knowing how easily someone could enter our condo. I would like to have had a chain lock on the front door to ensure this didn't happpen.I don't know if this was the fault of the propety management company giving out our code and telling the realtor that it was vacant or the fault of the realty company.

well worth the stay

A beautiful place to stay. . .needs some loving attention

The controls for the TV and Cable and DVD player were confusing. We never did get the DVD player to connect to the TV. There should be clear directions prominently displayed.<br/>I did call the propertymanager/maintenance manager who did explain hoe to use the TV/cable.<br/>I also mentioned to him that a spot light was out. He never came to replace it. Two other bulbs were out, also. The stand for the telescope was broken. . .it would not remain upright. And a support was broken on the master bedroom chair.

This unit is absolutely beautiful. This was our 3rd time back to Cinnamon Beach. We really enjoy the views, the beach, the friendly people. But especially the condos. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home. We look forward to returning again next year.

Not a bad place to stay

The painting that was being done made the buidings look less nice and it was noisy with the big cranes. Also, was unhappy that we had to call for our access code the morning of check-in and then got switched to a new unit (though it worked out in our favor, which we appreciate). Lastly, the housekeeper came on the morning of checkout and started cleaning before we left. It was not time yet for checkout.
