At White Heron Beach House, our oceanfront house on Ponte Vedra Beach, you feel as though you're in command of a gorgeous private beach, with rich dunes, sparkling waves, and soft sand. Bring the whole group to this family home and vacation in style!
White Heron Beach House sits right on the dunes overlooking the wide, unspoiled sands of the beach. There are wonderful views from many rooms in the house, as well as from our big second-story deck and first-story patio. And these aren't glimpses -- they're sweeping panoramic vistas that put on a show every morning at dawn!
The second-story deck is one of our favorite places, and we think it will be yours too. Located just off the living room, it offers a tables, safety rail, and outdoor staircase right down to the dunes. There's plenty of space here for sunbathing, reading, bird-watching, or even using your electronics (you have free wireless Internet at White Heron Beach House). Let the murmur of the waves and the smell of the salty sea breeze restore your spirit out here!
Just in from the sundeck, the living room is another great place for the whole group to gather. Here you'll find a new HDTV with cable, DVD player, and all the trimmings. Watching a movie here is almost like being in the theatre -- so before you go to bed one night, cue up The Jungle Book and let the kids wake up as early as they like to watch it, while the adults snooze for another couple hours. Isn't vacation wonderful?!
The ocean views from the living room are lovely, but the dining room offers even more exciting vistas. Our cozy round table is inset in an alcove ringed with long, sunny windows. One look at the beach outside, and you'll be hard pressed to get anyone to eat any breakfast. Another day of adventures has begun!
There are 4 bedrooms at White Heron Beach House, so everyone has a great place to stretch out. There are two bedrooms with king beds
The third and fourth bedroom offers 2 queen beds each - so you can sleep up to 4 kids in each bedroom.!
You'll love how remote White Heron Beach House feels, even though it's very close to a main road and convenient to both St. Augustine and Palm Coast. A private set of steps leads you down from the dune onto the soft sands, which are perfect for everything from sandcastle-building to sunbathing. Dolphins swim by our beach, and many types of birds are constant visitors. At any time of day, it's simply wonderful here!
And at White Heron Beach House, we've tried to anticipate everything you need for your stay. We provide all the linens, pillows, blankets, and towel sets for every bedroom and bathroom, and our washer and dryer are at your disposal. You'll find beach toys of every description -- feel free to enjoy them. We want you to make this your Ponte Vedra home-away-from-home, and we know that once you stay at White Heron Beach House, you'll be certain to return! Make plans to see visit soon!
Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
We had a wonderful week of vacation at Cinnamon Beach. We had four generations staying in the condo and never felt crowded, including two toddlers, my wonderful grandchildren. The condo was spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen. I would like to point out that there is NO sofa sleeper as the description indicates, fortunately we brought a queen blowup sleeper so it was not a problem for us, but could be for someone expecting a sofa sleeper. Overall, the unit was clean, but there was a lot of dust and I believe the palm tree in the dining room has not been dusted in quite some time; it has a lot of dust on the leaves. The master bath shower stall is in need of a good bleaching, I don't like to see mold when I am showering--no one does! Generally, I am not one to complain, but to pay a $165.00 cleaning fee and I need to wipe the kitchen counters off before use, because of sand and grit, really shouldn't happen. I will say though, none of the above issues would preclude us staying in this unit again, it was beautifully furnished and the view from the balcony was fantastic, not to mention the size of balcony--it's huge. The unit still deserves the five stars I gave it and then some. The walk to the pools and beach was short--our grandchildren loved the walk in pool and children's pool/slide area. We spent many hours at the pool, there is plenty of shade and cover when you need a break from the sun. The beach was great and we never encountered any rocks as indicated by some other reviewers. <br/>We saw many dolphins every day from the balcony--just delightful--binoculars help bring them up close and personal for viewing. We had no problem with stripping the beds and getting wash started for the cleaning crew as to help get the next folks in by 3:00, along with disposing of all of our trash. Steve Milo and team make it perfectly clear it's not required, an only if you want to suggestion. There is ample parking and we encountered no wait at the Guar
Zero stars was not an option!!!!!! Pillows and bedding were stained and old. They were so nasty that we went to Target and purchased new sheets and pillows to use while we were there. The carpet needs replaced and the entire house smelled of mold and mildew. It's probably because part of the roof was missing shingles and had water damage. The deck furniture was so dirty that no one could even sit outside to enjoy the beach. The only beach chairs provided were plastic $5 cheap chairs from Walmart. Normally we would bring these items with us, but we flew there so we were forced to use what was there. We paid $4000 to rent for the week and it was the biggest waste of money ever!!! Even if someone said we could stay for FREE I would say NO!!!!
The most pristine private beach ever!! Gorgeous!!! Highly recommend! Perfect for families.
The White Herron is perfect. The location is perfect. 15 minuets drive each way gives you what you need. The beach is great it is like a private beach. No crowds. House was clean and had all the amenities for a two week vacation. We will rebook and be back next year.
We had a wonderful time at the White Heron in March. The location being directly on the beach was unbelievable - very private with miles of sandy shoreline to walk. We were lulled to sleep each night by the waves and found it so peaceful and relaxing. The only complaint I had was that the windows had a film on them which blurred the beautiful view. I ran out to Publix and bought Windex and they cleaned up beautifully - however I don't think they had been cleaned in a long time. We would love to visit again and had a splendid vacation.
The house is older and somewhat tired but is located directly on a nice section of beach. While the house was fairly clean, every dish, pan and utensil had to be washed before we could use it. Walls are pecky pine (large holes) and lots of dust in the holes and on the fake plants. Bring your own sheets as they aren't nice, need a salad spinner and tea kettle.
