Growing up in the Ozarks and spending many years at Table Rock Lake as a child have made me want to share my lake home with others to enjoy when I can't be there myself. Although I live near by there's no place like the lake to get away from it all and that's what I like to do to unwind and regroup. If an escape from the hustle and bustle is what your looking for this place is for you. Although if you do want to sneak in to Eureka Springs or Branson for a little entertainment you don't have far to go.
Kathy purchased this House in 2015
Why Kathy chose Blue Eye
The view you see is cow creek cove and main channel toward Kimberling City. I've been swimming in this cove since I was 8 years old and learned to ski in it. I spent all of my summers growing up just across the lake where my parents still reside. I've had so many fantastic memories made over the years here at Table Rock Lake with family and friends and although I also use this home I wanted to be able to share this with others so they could have the same experiences I have had and make your own memories and just get away. New Central Air/Heat Pump/Furnace was added in October 2015. New second Master Suite and bath downstairs for a 3rd bedroom 3rd bath.
What makes this House unique
The covered deck with the best view is my favorite spot to have my morning coffee and to just hang out and chill of an evening. There is also a screened porch with ceiling fans and a table and chairs and a gas grill just off of the kitchen that is shaded. Views from the dining room, living room, master bedrooms and of course the covered deck or lower open deck. This home is very private and away from the crowds.

The property site is beautiful! Everything was well maintained for the most part
This is a very nice place, with plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have fun. We very much enjoyed our 4 day stay. There are good eating establishments in nearby Blue Eye and Lampe, as well as places to buy groceries.
Awesome get away
Encredible views!! Kathy was awesome and very prompt to respond to all questions!! The home had everything we needed and more! Was awesome to have 3 bathrooms!! I loved to sit on frontroom couch and look out to lake was amazing! Every morning it was a big decision to decide inside or outside deck for me to enjoy my coffee!! Loved the place!! Oh and the boat slip was just right down the road which was a plus!!
Great views and comfy bedrooms!
Overall impressions were good as the house is situated with a fantastic perspective of the lake. Front decks and back screened in porch are very nice as well. Beds are comfy and bathrooms aplenty. The kitchen is quite small but the outdoor grill is a nice alternative to cooking inside- but leave on the fans or you'll fill the house with smoke. The only downside was the absence of hot tub which, at the time of booking, was listed as an amenity (plus I received an email reminder to bring our own towels) but had been removed because of damage. It wasn't a big deal, but owner denied having it listed (even with the instructions still hanging on the refrigerator at the house). I didn't appreciate the insinuation that I, the renter, was lying about having seen it in the original listing or getting an email about towels. Felt it was not the polite way to treat people who are paying for vacation home.
Nice place to stay with a nice view
Nice place to stay with a nice view
The property was clean but older. The view was nice.
Our overall experience was positive. We had a few issues but Kathy was quick to respond and offer solutions. The master bed was comfortable, but the other beds were somewhat hard. The fan on the covered porch overlooking the lake did not work. We used the floor fan. The dryer went out in the middle of our stay, but Kathy said it was being replaced the day we left. Stuff happens. The grill needs to be moved off the enclosed rear porch. It smoked up the house and was almost impossible to cook on because of the smoke. Overall, Kathy was great to work with, and I would stay here again if the grill, fan, and w/d issues were resolved.
This is from my wife: She says the lighting in the bathrooms is very hard to see in for makeup, getting ready etc. It is older track lighting and is dark and hard to see in. There is also no counter space in the upstairs bathrooms.
I appreciate you letting me know about the ceilling fan on the deck and the dryer. The ceiling fan was repaired by an electrician the day after you left and I installed a large capacity washer and dryer also. As for the smoke on the porch that is why the 2 ceiling fans were installed on the screened in porch.
If you stay again you might take the lower level master suite so your wife can use the large vanity will the two sinks with 2 mirrors and lots of light.
Hope you visit again.
All the best,
Kathy treated us like family!
The house was lovely, clean and very well stocked with everything we would ever need. Kathy called just to make sure everything was up to our expectations! We will be back!
