This one-bedroom luxury suite is a full service Resort at Squaw Creek vacation rental in the famous Olympic Valley! Revel in true ski-in/ski-out access, an 18-hole championship golf course, fly fishing, ice-skating, heated pools, and a hot tub right in front of the complex identified by its constant allure of steam in winter.

Squaw Creek, which in part hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics, is on the lavish side of North Tahoe lodging with its deluxe accommodations for all. Stroll the shopping promenade, dine among four distinct restaurants, relax at a full-service spa, break a sweat at the fitness and tennis centers, or perfect your snow angel. It’s all about how you want to spend your vacation.

Condo #555 itself represents well the AAA Four-Diamond label Squaw Creek boasts. The bedroom features a king-sized 'Deep Powder' pillow-top bed before a wall-spanning bay window and flatscreen TV. The full bath offers a deep soaking tub for private apres-ski refreshment and free-standing shower with dual heads.

In the living room, you will enjoy lounging in front of the gas fireplace on the plush (sleeper) sofa. Gather around the four-seater dining table for morning coffee while breakfast cooks in the kitchenette.

In addition to the full menu of resort amenities at Squaw Valley, this location is an excellent destination to explore North Lake Tahoe attractions any time of the year. Squaw Valley has a paved bike trail that travels all the way to Tahoe City and West Shore Lake Tahoe. The famous Truckee River raft/float starts in Tahoe City and ends at River Ranch, just two miles from the Resort.

Treat yourself to a deluxe vacation at this Squaw Valley vacation rental!

*Note: There is a $25/day Resort Fee upon checking in, which covers transportation services, all resort amenities, and gratuities.

About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Falsely advertised, but decent

 • 2 of 5

Last I checked, you can't "ski-in/ski-out" from the 5th floor of a resort. Yes, there is a ski lift that you can access right at the resort and ski valet service. But that is different... The pictures shown for this unit are a bit misleading. This is not a "valley view" unit, it looks out the back of the building and is also located next to the staff elevator which you hear early every morning from the bedroom. Squaw Creek staff will not assist you with any room needs when you stay here. This room was missing blankets for the sofa bed (so our children slept without blankets) and had no extra toilet paper (which we ran out of on the second day). The hotel staff would not help us at all with any of that. Calling Vacasa property management was also useless and they didn't provide any of the above even after calling them. The unit was clean and is nice, but it should be and then some at the effective price you are paying.

A luxury resort room with out the benefits

 • 2 of 5

Squaw Creek is very nice, but renting this property removes some key advantages to staying in an luxury resort. Specifically, having the assistance of Squaw Creek staff to provide anything you may need like blankets (if they happen to be missing as in our case) or toilet paper (should you run out and not find an extra roll in your bathroom). The overall price you pay for this unit is the same (or slightly more) than you'd pay if booking a unit directly from Squaw Creek. This unit also happens to be right next to the staff elevator which you will hear from the bedroom early every morning and throughout the day. Not a great location by any means.

Fabulous Resort, but expensive

 • 3 of 5

The resort itself is great! This particular unit was far from the elevator - the Cleanning fee is ridiculously high!

Owner's Response: The standard cleaning fee for this unit is $210, and its worth every penny when you arrive to a spotless unit and don't have to worry about a thing when you leave! We hope you enjoyed the resort amenities and that you were comfortable in this unit. Thank you!

Beautiful Squaw Valley

 • 4 of 5

We attended Wanderlust Festival 2012 and had the good fortune of finding this unit that accommodated 4 women. It had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. We were surprised to find a well-stocked kitchenette complete with cook top, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and coffee pot. It was perfect for breakfast and lunch. The king bed was very comfortable and the morning views of the mountain were a treat. The sofa bed was not as comfortable and is probably better suited for kids. The resort location overlooking the valley meadows is spectacular. The shuttle is convenient to get to the village. There are numerous hiking and biking trails in the area and Lake Tahoe nearby. We had pizza in the Village which was good and affordable. This property is ideal for a couple or family of 4.
