'Dolce Far Niente' Italian for 'The Sweetness of doing Nothing' Our mountain townhome is a great place to Get-Away and just enjoy life. Located in a small 7 year new village called the Village at Roslyn Ridge just outside Ronald, WA. All appliances and furniture were NEW in 2012 including cherry sleigh beds and a pine log bunkbed. 2 bedrooms, plus loft and 1.5 baths. Townhome has 1400 sq ft on 2 levels with all bedrooms/loft and full bathroom upstairs. Open GREAT ROOM on the main floor that provides an excellent space for socializing w/ 1/2 bathroom. Wood burning fireplace (dura flame or similar logs ONLY), views of the surrounding mtns from inside or from the deck just off the private outside entrance front door. TV/VCR/DVD with extensive movie collection, HIGH Speed Internet, FREE WIFI, Attached 2 car garage makes it easy to pull in and walk right into the townhome. Please NOTE there is NO Air Conditioning, however we do have numerous fans and provide instructions on how to help keep the place cool in the summer.

Great holiday get away!

My first experience with VRBO and the level of communication with the owners made for a seamless, stress free experience. The condo is well appointed and comfortable and my family enjoyed the spectacular view, watching movies by the fire and the close proximity to the many activities within Roslyn Ridge. We will definitely be back next holiday season and would like to try out a summertime trip.

Just what we needed!

Our family (two adults, 2 kids) stayed at Dolce Far Niente for a last-gasp vacation before school started back up again and we couldn't have made a better choice! We had everything we needed and more. The cabin is fully stocked from the kitchen to the game cabinet to the movie case and the owners, Matt and Frank, have thought of everything. Dolce has a charming ambience (LOVE the moose!) and while it is very pet and kid friendly it's also very much a grownup retreat. We spent time at the pool, went for bike rides, explored Cle Elem and Roslyn (great farmers market on Sunday) and watched a movie every night. Our family got to relax and recharge and we're already trying to figure out when we can do it again!

Relaxing Family Getaway

We just had the most wonderful weekend at Dolce Far Niente. The owners are great about communication/directions/rental info and offered points of interest to visit. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Lovely breeze, beautiful views, pet friendly (our 2 dogs were very content), quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The decor has a charming cabin feel, kitchen had absolutely every necessity covered. Lots of linens, and a very clean home. Super comfortable beds and great sound system with many CD's/movies to enjoy. The views were lovely, and we enjoyed walks around the neighborhood. True bliss!

Repeated Stays

We have stayed here with our two young children and our small dog for 3 years in a row and plan on continuing the tradition. Roslyn Ridge makes a convenient base camp for winter exploration. We have always found the condo to be in excellent condition and a warm & inviting place to stay. The unit is well situated to provide nice views without the feeling of being crammed between other units. Matt & Frank are pleasant and accommodating. My only concern in recommending it is that it will make it harder for us to schedule as we return year after year.
