Beautiful Handcrafted Rustic Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience using VRBO and it won't be our last.

The Stuart Log cabin was amazing, relaxing, and truly a Canadian gem. The cabin is located right in the woods and you are right on the water. We were supplied with dishes, utensils, microwave, coffee maker and an oven. There is also a fridge with ice cubes trays (the trays were a bonus).

Helen Ann met us and she was incredibly welcoming and gave us a little history on the cabin as we asked how this all came about. Helen Ann let us know some of the creatures that we may see during our stay and one was a bald eagle which happen to fly over us during dinner one night.

We were able to use the canoe and surf boards to our leisure. We had a hammock that they let us use and we set it up in the woods to read one afternoon.

There are children's toys, books and adult literature if you need something to do. There is no WiFi, or telephone which is nice as I feel like this is a cabin to get back in touch with yourself, friends, and family.

There is also a barbeque and patio table with chairs incase you are wondering. As well as a tree house for the children to play and a giant wooden chair to take pictures which is used in the town santa clause parade.

I feel like writing about this cabin does no justice as you truly have to see it for yourself and the relaxation it will give you. I cannot wait to book this log cabin again in the fall as it will be just so beautiful with all the fall colors.

If you want to do a day trip there are pamphlets that let you know about what is going around town and what activities to do at that moment.

I highly suggest booking this cabin, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
