About Amy Seeks

We love to travel the world and found this great cabin and instantly fell in love. It felt like home immediately. We've taken special care over the years to add things that make it even more comfortable and enjoyable. It shows -- everyone who has ever stayed here says the same thing. They are so glad they found it and can't wait to come back. :)

Amy Seeks purchased this cabin in 2003

Why Amy Seeks chose Sevierville

We bought in this location because it is close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet has none of the busy traffic and noise. It's high enough up the mountain to have great views yet it's not hard to get to in the snow. So many cabins are scary to drive to, but not ours!

What makes this cabin unique

If you want to get great exercise you can do it right from the cabin. You don't even need to get in a car. Just head up the driveway and explore.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had an awesome time in the area and enjoyed coming home to your lovely cabin. We will look to book your cabin again whenever we travel to the Smokies again.

Very nice cabin. It took us a bit to find it, but after that it was very easy to access. The cabin was nicely decorated and very confortable. It was very clean and we enjoyed it.

Cozy Cabin

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was nice overall. We did love the location, but the view could have been better and the beds could have been softer.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin retreat!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your thoughts on our Cabin. Because everyone sleeps differently we have one soft mattress in the downstairs bedroom and one more firm upstairs. We hope you still had an amazing trip in the mountains. Amy

The Cabin

  • 1 of 5

The cabin has issues, it is a cute design, but the mice destroys the the whole concept of being there and that's no fun! We paid a high cost to be there too! The issue of the mice is very very horrible and needs attention immediately!!!! We have been staying in cabins in Tennessee for many many years and NEVER saw a mouse, your cabin was the worst ever! I couldn't take any more agony so we left two days earlier. That's unfair! The last towel in the cabin when we awoke that morning, had mice waste on it and too due to the mice eating on my toothbrush and the brush are was completely covered! The cabin is ugly in every aspect all due to YOU not being kind and considerate to your guests! We have stayed in many cabins in that area and NEVER being a very strong word, NEVER had we experienced any mice any of the cabins! God as my witness as hold my hand to Heaven! Another isse, the roof leaks too! You are being so unkind to your guestand the cabin.. The simple solution is to call an exterminator, immediately!! This will prove peace and harmony for all involved!! May God bless you! Sincerely, The Meehans

Owner's Response: Wow! I have never had anyone have an issue with staying at our cabin let alone an issue with mice. I certainly would have expected you to call or try to contact me in some way before leaving. Never heard a peep from you so it makes me wonder if there is some kind of other issue here. My apologies if there were any issues. We do have monthly pest control so any issue related to pests could have been easily remedied. We also have a local management company and a separate inspector that comes to check on the cabin once a month. Best of luck to you. Amy

The cabin was clean and had most everything you would need.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was wonderful and the area was very picturesque. My only complaint was that the water in the hot tub was so hot we couldn't get in it. We never could get it to cool down some. The hot tub was also very loud, so we couldn't hear the sounds of nature. Loved having games and cards available. We will definitely visit again!

Owner's Response: Sounds like you may have turned the temperature up instead of down. In the summer with the cover on it should not run very often at all. Sorry it disrupted your peace. :) Amy
