110 72nd Street, located in the quiet residential area known as the North End of Virginia Beach, with its pristine, uncrowded beach, is a wonderful summer vacation destination.You can choose to veg out or take advantage of the area, which is rich in sports opportunities, good restaurants, and family fun.
The single level house sleeps ten people: a master bedroom/bath with queen bed, a second bedroom with queen bed, two rooms with two twin beds each, and a queen sleep sofa in the living room.
72nd Street terminates at the beach so there is no through traffic. The beach access walkway is 100 feet from the house.
This property has an enclosed outdoor shower with hot & cold water and a foot hose by the front door.
This home offers a fully equipped eat-in kitchen (take advantage of the Saturday Farmers' Market!), wonderful enclosed dining porch with backyard view, large living room with flat screen TV, walk-in shower in master, hall bath with tub/shower and additional half bath off kitchen. House was perfect VERY close to the beach a few steps away. Enjoyed my morning coffee watching the dolphins . Husband fished from shore daily. House was clean and had all amenities that were needed Cant wait to go back.
We absolutely loved my stay at this beach house. The beaches are beautiful, the home was extremely cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The house also has a beautiful backyard and the house is only steps away from the ocean. We will be back!
Our family stayed in this home July 31 through August 7, 2015. We enjoyed the house. We did have a couple of issues soon after arriving, but they were quickly taken care of by the real estate company. The shrubs near the home were a little over grown. We found the outside shower from inside. It is not seen from the front of the property, one could not see it from the patio, and the path to it was very overgrown. If we had more than 2 cars, we would have had trouble parking as the driveway near the house had shrubs which prohibited opening a car door and the street parking in front of the house was taken by people visiting the beach and renters on the other side of the street. The interior, however, is very comfortable with lots of space for individual enjoyment. Access to the beach was very convenient and the beach was very nice. Being yearly renters, we knew to take all paper products with us. No lessor provides these things. Otherwise, the house is very well stocked for family's pleasure. We would visit again.
We had a ball at this house. The location is perfect. It is on a quiet street a few steps from the ocean, near shops and eateries. We teachers were able to easily visit as a whole group in the living room area. We will definitely return!!!
This was a perfect house for me, my husband and baby. We could walk to the beach and there was great hanging out space in the yard as well. We loved the location across from seashore state park to run, hike, and bike. It was also great exercise to walk down to the boardwalk either on the beach or oceanfront avenue. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need and the house kept cool in the heat. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing beach rental.
We have rented this home or the house next door every July since 2001 for our family vacation. The houses are both very comfortable, about a half block from the beach without crossing any streets. Great for our grand kids who were 3 and 2 when we first had them up from Texas for a fun beach experience. The owners of the houses have their private houses on the same block and take great pride in the upkeep of the rental properties. We feel that the property is a wonderful location, located conveniently on the North End of the beach away from the hassle of the tourist area, easy access to a great family beach and restaurants. A great value for a beach vacation!
