Our family, 3 generations and counting, enjoys being together in this coastal Carolina retreat where the sounds of birds are louder than the sounds of traffic.
The Owner purchased this condo in 1993
This island is connected to the mainland by a single bridge and has laws that limit population density which provide greater safety for our younger family members. After having visited, we wanted to be a part of this community which has large green spaces for roaming and playing.
There are not enough words to express how much my family loves OIB. This condo made the stay most enjoyable! This year was our second year staying in this unit. It is in the perfect location for the beach and exploring. The property is beautiful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. The owner is very prompt in all inquiries. The unit is clean and well taken care of. Much thanks to the owner for sharing their wonderful property with our family!
Would have liked to have known about all the steps before a few days before checking in. My aunt had broken her knee a year earlier and my uncle has COPD. They had a lot of trouble with the stairs.
The unit was somewhat dated, especially the cookware, range and refrigerator. We did have a very beautiful stay and it was convenient to the ocean and the pool, other than the stairs.
The property was clean and well maintained and I would recommend it to others. Very reasonably priced. May go again and rent a unit on the lower level.
