This home is in a great location (i.e. beach community near South Beach), has a large heated pool w/ bluestone patio, a great layout (i.e. 2nd floor open floor plan w/ screened porch & expansive deck), and has been updated to impeccable standards. The 3rd Floor has a large master bedroom suite with private balcony overlooking Herring Creek Farm and South Beach. The 2nd Floor is a sun-filled open floor plan with Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Screened Porch, Gas Fireplace and expansive Deck with great views & southern exposure. The 1st Floor has 3 good-sized bedrooms, full bath, and laundry room.

Outdoors are a mahogany deck (2nd Floor), large heated pool, bluestone patio, chaise lounges, outdoor dining tables, umbrellas and adirondack chairs.

Great location, luxurious accommodations, & superb indoor/outdoor living space. A truly a great getaway for family and friends.

My wife and I grew up on the Cape, and so frequented the Vineyard often. Since having a family, we have vacationed there many times. Offering tranquil scenery, beautiful beaches, expansive bike paths along the ocean, great towns, restaurants and nightlife, the Vineyard is truly the perfect location for a family getaway. We purchased a Vineyard property specifically to offer families an unforgettable vacation experience. With this in mind, we furnished it to mirror the luxury of a high end coastal resort, but with terrific amenities (e.g. private pool, kid's TV/game room, video library, etc). Spectacular home in a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 87 Slough Cove Road.. beautiful home, pool and within close proximity to South Beach. The house is well appointed .. the beach chairs etc make it so much easier to pack .. you don't have to bring your own!! Kitchen equipment all great..lots of room to spread out and entertain .. The owner has invested in quality items ..Weber gas grill, etc.. makes all the difference in trying to fix dinner for a crowd and do it successfully. I can't say enough great things about this house and the owner who was completely accessible for any and all questions. If we come back to Martha's Vineyard...we will rent from the Church's... Big thanks!!

Perfectly appointed and located.

Starting with the communication from the owner, Steve, everything was 5 star. The directions and instructions on how to reach the property, as well as restaurant and other island recommendations were informative. The caregiver was onsite the moment we arrived and took great care to show us all the amenities. Both Steve and Craig were attentive and easily reached if we had problems. (We didn't, but it was good to know)

The house is beautifully decorated and was immaculate with absolutely everything we needed for our stay; chairs for the beach, coolers, and plenty of beach towels. The kitchen was well appointed and made it very easy to cook on the nights we stayed in.

The location was truly perfect for what we wanted from our trip. The landscaping around the property gave great privacy when we were at the pool, and South Beach was just moments away. The area is just 10 minutes out of Edgartown; near stores, restaurants, beaches yet you have the feeling of a private retreat.

I can't say enough about this house; we vacation this way many times a year and this was our very best experience to date. We hated to leave!

First Class Vineyard Vacation Home

We enjoyed an outstanding stay on the Vineyard, in large part because of everything this wonderful vacation home has to offer. The home's Katama location is ideal for beach lovers as well as offering the convenience of a short bike or car ride into Edgartown. The owners were terrific, starting with the quick response to our initial inquiry to helping with travel logistics along with providing a great list of restaurant recommendations. The home is perfect for creating a memorable vacation with your family or a group of friends. The interior of the home is beautifully decorated and has every amenity that you would want. Outside the home, the heated pool is perfect for a wake up swim, a mid-day nap or enjoying a relaxing evening with a grilled dinner and drinks under the starlight. At the end of our stay, it was hard to pry us away and there was great distress that our week had ended. But, as the saying goes, "All Good Things Must Come To An End" and having to leave this beautiful home was certainly in keeping with that sentiment. When considering a vacation on the Vineyard, you should put this perfect option at the top of your list.

Fantastic MV Vacation House!!

This was our 3rd consecutive September stay in this beautiful house, and each year is even better than the last!!! Everything about it is perfect - the location, the house itself, all the little things and especially the owner and caretaker. Steve and Craig have combined to think of everything. Pure luxury all the way around. That part of the island is perfect for walks and bike rides, whether you want to walk on the beach or in and out of the neighborhoods, or up to the Right Fork Diner, one of our favorite spots just a few minutes away. The deck and heated pool are perfect, and where we end up spending most of our time. The separation between the master bedroom upstairs and the other bedrooms downstairs also makes the house extremely well laid out for our extended family and grandchildren. When you add in how dog friendly the house and Steve are, you've got a perfect vacation for our family. Thank you Steve and Craig for continuing to invite us back each year!!!

Fantastic stay!

What a beautiful home to spend a fabulous week enjoying Martha's Vineyard. We loved everything about it: the house was immaculate, the kitchen perfectly stocked, the location ideal and Steve was very responsive and incredibly helpful. All around so perfect that I am running out of adjectives! Thank you for everything! I highly recommend Katama Luxury!

This property also overlooks Herring Creek Farm with South Beach in the background. Very nice/scenic location with easy access to the beach and town.
