About The Owner

This cabin is a family cabin where by a father and 2 sons are the owners. We cherish it and hope you do too.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2005

Why The Owner chose Sicamous

This cabin is close to the town of Sicamous so you have all the town amenities however you're far enough away that it doesn't feel like you're in the town. Additionally it's in a very quiet sub division with great neighbours who look out for each other.

The cabin has it's own private beach, dock and buoy that's accessed via a small path down to the lake.

Finally, the cabin is a quick 45 minute drive from Revelstoke Mountain Resort so it's now an all season destination. It can be used in summer for boating and winter for skiing/snowboarding.

What makes this cabin unique

- Short walk to private beach

- 3 great golf courses within 30 minutes

- Access to both Mara and Shuswap lake

- Private hot tub with an amazing view of the lake

- Nice fire pit area

- Huge deck

- Cabin is well shaded so it's not hot in summer

- Very private location - can't see neighbours on either side, just those below.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The view was amazing and we put the fire pit and hot tub to good use! The location was really close to town which was very convenient also. The cabin was very clean, beds comfortable, and had more than enough furniture/towels/kitchen supplies/etc for our group. Hope to stay again next year!

Damage deposit return transaction was very quick.

Stunning Views

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 5 days and loved it! Little bit of a walk to the beach but it gave us the much needed exercise break we needed from our patio sitting/beer drinking days. Swimming off the dock was great! Nice warm water :) Wish we could have stayed longer. Ron was very helpful and got back to any questions we had quickly. Thanks Ron!

Amazing View!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for 4 nights and wish we would have stayed longer! The cabin was clean, had absolutely everything you could need and more, and had an exceptional view of the lake. The walk to the beach/dock was a littler harder than we expected with our toddler but we made it work. Ron & family were extremely understanding and accommodating. We received our deposit back very quickly. We would recommend this place to everyone! Thanks again.

Decided to propose to my Canadian love here and I could have not picked a more perfect spot. Right on the balcony with amazing views right before the fireworks for Canada Day.

Beautiful veiw

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely two night stay with all our family, we've been visiting for our daughters marriage from Australia. Ron was quick to answer my queries and the cottage was just as he had described, clean and well equipped. The only problem was the mosquitoes, but Ron had said they hadn't had a problem these past couple of years but this year the lake was pretty full, so don't forget your mosquito spray. The hot tub was a great hit and we enjoyed some family time around the fire pit. Ron also returned the security damage deposit very promptly. We will be back when we visit our daughter next time.

A Boater's Paradise

  • 5 of 5

My husband, our daughter, my parents and my brother had a fantastic time in the Shuswap! Ron's description of the place as well as the description for the way to the lake shore was right on the mark. The cabin was very clean and Ron was available to answer any of our questions before, during and after our stay! The damage deposit was return promptly as promised. There was plenty of parking for our truck and boat trailer and it was an added bonus we could use the mooring buoy and dock while we were there. When we weren't boating ourselves, we were able to enjoy the large deck with spectacular views of the Shuswap with the houseboats going in and out of the bay all the while enjoying a drink in the hot tub! We were fortunate enough to see the firework display for Canada Day celebration right from the view of the deck and they were amazing!!
