Perfect in every sense of the word
Love my stay at Wendy's property. The location couldn't be more perfect. Inner Sunset is centralized to go in all different directions. 4 lines of transit are just outside the door. The neighborhood is very safe, the apartment quiet and comfortable, and the view from my windows looking out to the garden is beautiful. I was happy to find kitchen fully stocked of teas, spices, olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, etc and many of them are still wrapped and unopened. Wendy and her husband are very nice people, and I appreciate their efforts in making my stay fantastic. I highly recommend this apartment if you are in San Francisco. The beloved bakery on 9th Avenue, Arizmendi, is a must to go for morning breakfast to start your day. They make very yummy gourmet pizza. There's a Farmer's Market on Sunday morning where you can get fresh fruits, produce, honey, and seafood. I like it so much that I had already booked to come back later. Thanks Wendy.
Cozy studio close to Muni stop. Quiet, clean, comfortable.
Awesome place! Definitely worth staying at.
Amazing location in the inner sunset! Place is clean and modern, has a nice backyard as well.
We're delighted you enjoyed your stay!
Overpriced, no privacy, basement.
It's a basement. Minimal sunlight. Cold and humid. There are 2 small windows that face a small backyard to which you have restricted access. The owners Are often there, which means that if you want any privacy you need to keep your blinds down at all times, which means: no sunlight. Because it is a basement you hear footsteps, talking, and everything from above. There is nothing around the neighborhood. WAY OVERPRICED.
I'm sorry this guest did not have a good experience. This is the first negative review we've received in 5 years.
The apartment is at street level, as advertised. I work from home and occasionally use the garden during the day, when it is also available to guests. This guest worked at the nearby hospital and was rarely home during the day, so I'm not sure how our garden use affected her sunlight.
We do restrict guests from using the garden/firepit at night for safety reasons.
As to noise, our teenagers were away at camp and we were out of the country on a trip for a good part of this guest's stay, so I'm at a loss to understand what she's referring to.
Most guests love our neighborhood, as we are 4 blocks to Golden Gate park, and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. And for exploring other parts of the city, we are on 4 bus lines and 2 blocks from the N-Judah streetcar line.
If any prospective guests have concerns after reading this review, I encourage you to raise those concerns. We strive to provide a comfortable, safe, and fun experience for guests.
Relaxing, Quiet, and Convenient
My husband and I stayed at the Inner Sunset Property for one month. The apartment was perfect for us. Wendy has more than enough to make you comfortable in the apartment, including tons of pots and pans, tuber ware, extra kitchen items for every cooks need. The bathroom as well was fully stocked with extra shampoo, a hair dryer, etc.. The two closet spaces were very useful as well. We were able to fit most of our belongings there to keep it out of the living space. The neighborhood the property is in is very convenient for shops and restaurants, as well as a GREAT market one block away. Public transportation was awesome as well, we were able to get everywhere we wanted in the city (two bus stops steps away from the house and the N metro just two blocks). We also very much enjoyed the fact that it was very quiet and secluded. All and all we had a really nice stay. Especially we were really happy with the kitchen setup, which allowed for us to cook a lot of our meals, as well as the rest of the space was comfortable for our needs. A very charming and cozy space for two.
Thanks India. Delighted you enjoyed your stay. Come back and visit soon!
Relaxing Spot in the Sunset
I stayed at this property for 3 months and I have to say that it was a big help in why I enjoyed my time in San Francisco. The neighborhood has a huge variety of restaurants and cuisine available and it's just a few minutes walk from Golden Gate Park, the N Judah Muni Line, and other public transport. The owners were friendly and helpful once I arrived. There is wireless, DirecTV, a nice kitchenette, and big windows open to the backyard garden. The bathroom is newer feeling and is perfect for one to two people.
All in all, I was truly happy with my stay and encourage others to book this property.
Thanks Megan. We are so delighted you enjoyed your stay in our furnished studio!
