We only accept Saturday to Saturday bookings except for event weeks.

Beautiful newly remodeled,spacious 1400 sq ft upscale condominium in award winning Horizon Building ( won architectural award ), about a mile north to popular Daytona Board Walk and 7miles from International Speed way .

It features a large floor plan and is directly ocean front with sweeping, breathtaking views of the ocean from all rooms. In the morning, enjoy the energetic sunrise and spectacular city lights in the evening.

We recently remodeled and decorated this condominium and spared no expenses. It offers great comfort, style and privacy. White porcelain tiling and high end furnishings, 42inches LCD HD TV in living room and LCD HD TV in Master bedroom and DVD is second bedroom. Spacious, well furnished balcony. We have free high speed WI-FI and free telephone to anywhere in the USA and Canada.

Each of the only 72 units (4 per floor) has a private reserved parking place in the secure

underground garage. Only a few units are rented out since most are owner occupied by mature

residents that gives the complex a family flair. The pool and deck is never too crowded and we have gas and charcoal BBQ’s by the pool side for your free use. Common amenities include a separate sun deck for the non-swimmers, Sauna and very complete exercise room.

Situated in northern end of Daytona Beach where beach traffic is sparse at best, The Horizons is only one mile away from the busy boardwalk and main pier, far enough not to be bothered by the crowds and yet close enough for a stroll to the pier and mall for a drink, lunch, shopping or a movie. Only authorized persons can gain access to this secure, TV monitored building so you can enjoy your vacation in total safety.

Our hand-picked staff at the Horizons are very pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful and keep the building in perfect condition and the common areas totally clean. The building has just undergone refurbishment and painting and it looks just as gorgeous as when it was built.

There is a Supermarket only one mile away and lots of amenities and activities nearby such as Golf, Tennis, Windsurfing, Kayak and Quads rentals to name a few. A little further away, near the famous Daytona Auto Racetrack, there is the Daytona Beach Kennel Club & Poker Room.

We bought our first condo in Daytona in 2010 to enjoy time out from our busy business in Orlando but it is renting so well we have no availability for ourselves and decided to buy a second unit.

What makes this condo unique

Our five years experience as owners gave us the knowhow required to search for the perfect place and we think we have found it at the Horizons, it has the space (1400 sq. ft.) and the spectacular views of the city lights in the evening that we were looking for. More than half of the units are owner occupied by mature couples so the common areas are never noisy and overcrowded.

I want to move in.

My wife, our son (14), our nephew (14) and I stayed here from 7/9 (check-in) - 7/16 (check-out). We all loved it.

The Unit:

Everything we needed for our stay was provided and it was in good condition. Well, except for those things noted in the agreement like paper products, etc. There was enough toilet paper, soap, etc to get us through the first night which was nice.

The view from this unit is incredible. I spent every night on the massive balcony watching the ocean, the people on the beach and later the people being launched into the night sky on the slingshot at the pier. Who needs TV when you have that view. Just FYI, TV is provided and there is a large selection of cable channels to watch. I happily only watched 15 minutes of TV during the whole stay.

The condo is close enough to the pier that you can walk to it. I think it's 1.8 miles and makes for a nice beach walk. It is also far enough that all that pier craziness doesn't impact your time at the beach. The location is perfect.

The Beach:

It wasn't crowded, everybody had space to spread out on the beach.

The beach in front of the condo is clean, almost totally shell free and has a gradual slope into the ocean.

On average I'd say the waves were about 3 feet tall. That sounds small but there is a lot of power in a 3 foot wave. As the tide came in we got some 5 footers that made wave jumping a lot of fun.

This is my favorite beach when compared to Virginia Beach, Myrtle, Marco Island, Ft. Walton or Clearwater. Waikiki beats out Daytona, but that's a lot longer drive. :-)

Juan and Mercedes:

Juan is an excellent communicator and we had no issues with checking in or out.

He has the unit's keys in a lock box on the unit's front door. That's much better than the last place we stayed where the keys were in a lock box two miles from the unit. Everything was great and that's because they put the effort into making it great.

I'd definitely stay here again and I'd seriously move in if Juan wanted to adopt a 42 year old from Ohio.

In closing, Juan and Mercedes, thank you very much for opening your home to us and helping us to have a memorable and wonderful family vacation. I highly recommend this unit to anyone thinking about a vacation at the beach.

AWESOME CONDO!!!

I will start by saying wow!!! I have stayed in a lot of condos over the years but I have to say this is the most beautiful and well equipped I have ever seen. Awesome views from all rooms and balcony. Super clean and has everything you need. Also, being able to park in the garage is the best. The pier is farther than it looks but it is walkable and you are still very close to everything. The building is very secure and very well maintained. Juan is very easy to work with and very helpful. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone I know or don't know. We had one of our best vacations staying here and would love to do it again ASAP. I just cannot say enough about this great place to stay! Thank you for sharing it with us.

2nd Year in the Most Outstanding Rental on the Beach

Once again we stayed at the most beautiful rental on the beach. Not only spectacular views from the wrap-around 18th floor balcony, but by far, the most cost efficient place to stay. The amenities, furnishings and appointments are fantastic. Everything you could need. We drove to Florida from New York last year, but with the amenities of this unit we flew this year, because we didn't need anything but our clothes. The building and security are first rate with parking inside a secure garage and key only access to and from the beach. The Oceanside pool was immaculate.

Can't say enough about this place. Already planning our next visit.

Beautiful views

We spent a week at this lovely condo. It was immaculate when we arrived. There is plenty of room and all the amenities. We stocked up at the Publix conveniently close and enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the ocean...breathtaking! Our teenage children enjoyed the beach and pool. There are plenty of towels/beach towels and we were able to do laundry with no problem right outside our door. We loved being up on the 18th floor just one below the top floor...not only were the views phenomenal but it seemed so quiet and serene up there. One of the two elevators was out of service but we didn't really have a problem with that. All residents and guests were very friendly. We will definitely rent again if possible next year!

Fall trip

Enjoyed staying in this condo. Every nice and clean. Beautiful view on the 18th floor. Just my husband and I were there. Every quiet. Met Juan and his wife. Very nice and sweet couple. Hope to come back again.
