Overview

About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Located within the exclusive Aspens community, the Balsam Lodges are the newest buildings in the development, built in 1992. Most of the other buildings were completed in the late 1970's. This unit has a significantly larger living room area than other one bedroom units in the Aspens.

The open floor plan allows for conversation while cooking, dining inside or out, or simply relaxing on the sofa. Enjoy natural light and the ambiance of a very well cared-for home.

The kitchen has everything you need to create your own meals, new dishes and glassware, and a full supply of cooking utensils.

The bedroom has ample closet space and an extremely comfortable Queen sized bed (which everyone raves about - it will provide you with a super restful vacation!). All of the furniture in the home has been carefully selected from around the world, and is very well cared for.

The Aspens neighborhood is a convenient jumping-off point for any Jackson Hole adventure. Located half-way between Teton Village and the town of Jackson, the Aspens is a quaint neighborhood just off Hwy 22, complete with local shops, restaurants, banks, a grocery store, coffee shop, liquor store, and health club.

Quiet, winding lanes make their way through the neighborhood and one of the areas' largest Aspen groves. Enjoy mountain views and open meadows and streams. Wildlife abound - be warned these are wild animals - it wouldn't be uncommon to wake up with a moose in your back yard!

We look forward to having you visit our little piece of paradise in the Tetons! Come see why so many people return year after year to Jackson Hole and the Aspens!

About Anne Fish

A world-traveler herself, Anne has close family ties to Wyoming and the West. Her mother was raised in Wyoming, and father in Denver. Anne bought her first property near Jackson in 1998 while living in London. She came to Jackson because it was a place where she could get away from the craziness of life and be at peace.

Since that first property, she has owned 2 others, and rented them both out at different times. She sold real estate in the area for 10 years, and understands about taking care of properties in an effort to make them more desirable for renters to come back to over and over again.

Anne would love to hear from you and be able to share her enthusiasm for the area and for this little piece of paradise, which she has created and calls 'home'.

What makes this condo unique

Anne bought in the Aspens because of the proximity to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (3 miles) for skiing. (The bus picks up about 100 yards from her front door to go skiing!) She also loved the bike path, also right outside the front door, in the summer time. Teton Pines country club is next door as well. The commercial area with shops and grocery store is quite convenient. There are so many great things about the area!

Very clean, nicely furnished property very close to Jackson and to Teton Village.

The condo was perfect as a launching off spot to tour Teton National Park. It's minutes from Jackson, which was another fun excursion. There is a nice grocery store just down the road--walking distance. Very convenient!

My stay in Wilson, Wyoming

  • 5 of 5

Had an awesome time. This rental was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. The owner was VERY helpful and quick to answer any of my e-mails. The area was nice and quiet and close to so many things we wanted to do. The owner had all sorts of information with ideas for driving tours, hiking, eating, etc. We went dancing in Wilson and Jackson Hole. Enjoyed taking our pictures around the town square in Jackson. Toured the Tetons several times and made a couple of trips up to Yellowstone. We also did some hiking in the Tetons. Got to see two moose, two bear, a pronghorn and lots of buffalo. The elk were not cooperating at all though. ha ha Would definitely recommend staying there.

Ideal Condo Indeed

  • 5 of 5

We have been to the GTMF 4 times and stayed in the Aspens. Always a pleasant experience. This condo was very quiet and well equipped with many of the necessities that make for a great experience. We love to cook, make our lunches (and bring lots of stuff) and this was great for the following reasons: good utensils, cooking pans and dishes, and the bonus was extra tin foil, plastic wrap, coffee, jam, etc. It was quiet and we will return for our next trip to the Grand Teton Music Festival.

First time in the area and we landed a winning place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

There's not enough wonderful things we would say about this sweet spot! It was pristine, clean, tasteful decorations, fully equipped with anything you would need to cook, grill on the deck and has a nice cozy bed. It is centrally located being a short drive to Jackson Hole and Teton Village. We saw lots of wildlife a few miles away, as well. We would love to go back to this treasured find!
