Reviewer Comments:

We loved the home and the location. We were in town for my son-in-laws graduation and wanted to be close to downtown. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping with ease. The home had plenty of space for all of us and was very nicely furnished and well kept. We would stay again when we visit Savannah. Thank you for sharing your home.

Reviewer Comments:

Perfect floor layout with a half bath on the first floor. WiFi, kitchen amenities, bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms - perfect. If we had stayed any longer I would have taken on the garden areas. They need a loving hand to care for them. Wouldn't take much to turn the outdoor spaces into an asset. We were one block from Blick Art Supplies, 3 blocks from B. Matthews, one block from 17Hundred90, and of course, a park everywhere you set out on foot. The sound of the horse-drawn carriages passing by was nostalgic. Tidy up the garden and it's an A++. Thank you for a great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the State House. This townhome is very spacious and great walking location. It is also close to 2 trolley stops, if you choose to do that. Having 2 parking spaces was a huge bonus. Once we arrived we didn’t move our cars until time to check out. We felt very secure with the location, which was nice walking back from nights out. Every experience we had with the Lucky Savannah staff was great and they were able to answer all of our questions & we greatly enjoyed the early check-in option! We had a great time, and would definitely stay here again.

Reviewer Comments:

This apartment is very spacious and great walking location . The parking is a bonus. And I felt secure at this location, which was quiet and in a nice area. The beds were comfortable and having a bathroom for each bedroom a plus. On the negative side-and we did call only once to have a lamp fixed and chose to just do work around on the other lacking elements. I feel sure they would have remedied the shortcomings had I insisted. There was poor lighting-the one lamp I called for had a broken switch so it just had to stay on the whole time, bulbs were dim in whole house. The blind in dining room was broken so didn't open making it very dark. The lights in the kitchen only came on with a lot of flicking of the switches. The powder room was so dark, you could hardly see. Generally the place was comfortable but was sparsely furnished. For only 2 people it was OK. The pillows were too thin and worn out, there were no dishtowels and dishdrainer. There was no paring knife so i had to slice strawberries with a huge meat carving knife. The coffee table was broken and sofa had a pad under the cushions to bolster it. I needed a broom to sweep up some spilled cereal and there was none so had to pick up on my hand and knees. I would recommend a coffee maker with an auto shut off. We realized we forgot and had to drive back during the day to turn it off. And the stairs could use a railing. The HVAC worked really well but I tried to turn the fan to auto and it just kept running all the time, not a problem for me, but an unnecessary cost for the owners. Washcloths were missing from the towel sets in the extra bathroom so We just borrowed from the other bedroom. I own a home with short term rentals and these are my suggestions for comfort of guests for a better experience. Lucky Savannah's system worked very well. And Check in and out was easy. I would consider staying here again though it need attention. Would not recommend to others until spruced up.

Reviewer Comments:

The location of the home is perfect for adventuring in the historic area of Savannah. We enjoyed walking through parks and exploring the shops. Unfortunately there were 4 adults and we would have liked to use the sofa bed as advertised. However, it is not in any condition to have a decent nights sleep on. We ended up sleeping on the sofa itself which was not ideal. Although the management team brought a mattress topper, it was not thick enough to stop the springs from sticking in your back or correct the lopsidedness of the sofa bed. Very disappointing because the description clearly states a sofa bed as an option. We also discovered a moldy coffee filter left in the coffee maker, which the management team rectified immediately by replacing it with a new machine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Savannah. The house was excellent in all respects and extremely well positioned being very close to the free trolley bus stop and pretty easy walking distance to everything. The agent, Lucky Savannah, was very efficient.
