The house was really nice and cute, but smaller then it appeared on pictures.

House is really close to the beach but it's right by the walking trial so it's get pretty noisy. People constantly walking right by your bedrooms windows. picking true and checking everything out. So can't really enjoy the beautiful views.

Owner's Response: First and foremost, we are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and as you had indicated to me it was an amazing weekend. This property is right on the boardwalk and a mere couple of feet from the sand. The plus is you are oceanfront, the minus is there are people walking by the property night and day. Having said that this property does have its kitchen and living room on the 2nd floor so that our guests have privacy throughout the day. Furthermore there is a rooftop deck with 360 degree views that provides further privacy if our guests want it. 3 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and have shades that provide privacy both during the day and night. Like most properties in this area they maximize the limited lot size and this house is no exception. It provides 4 bedrooms and an outstanding open kitchen and living area with spectacular oceanfront views in a very efficient manner.

Perfect Beach House and Awesome Mgmt

We stayed at this property last week as part of a company retreat and the house was absolutely perfect. The entire ocean-facing side of the 2nd floor living area opens up with sliding glass doors so you feel like you are literally on the water. Bedrooms & bathrooms were all great & appeared to be newly remodeled. Kitchen was amazing and perhaps the most well-stocked kitchen we've experienced at a rental (made it really easy to cook group meals, etc.). Rooftop deck and balcony were just the icing on the cake.

Location is wonderful, right on the beach and easy walk to shops & restaurants in the neighborhood. Last but not least, Courtney (the property manager) could not have been more wonderful or easy to work with. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of during our stay.

I would recommend this property to anyone without hesitation and hope to return again sometime!

Amazing Property

My wife booked this amazing beach house for my 30th birthday weekend. This house is spectacular! I couldn't have asked for a better location, better home, or better price! This home is newly remodeled, has 4 large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and an amazing rooftop patio. The doors in the living room open completely to the ocean. My 30th birthday was everything I could have ever asked for and this home was the most important piece. I was able to have my family stay with me and we slept 8 adults in the bedrooms. My friends were thoroughly impressed. The owner of the house is amazing as well and very welcoming. We had no issue with checking in early to accommodate our schedule. I highly recommend renting this property. You will fall in love with it just as we did.

Unbelievable Place! Group of 6 adults

This place is amazing! The location is right on the best beach in San Diego. Our group is made up of 6 adults that travel to a new city every year. At every city we rent a house on VRBO. This was by far the most impressive and enjoyable house we have stayed in yet! Our group stayed in the living room for the entire four days we stayed here. The living room windows/doors all slide open to provide a direct, open view of the beach and ocean. The people-watching was amazing and provided hours of laughter and conversation.

We walked the entire beachfront sidewalk and can honestly say our house was the most impressive house along the entire beachfront. Several times we had people stop to take pictures of our amazing "open" living room. Of course, we would talk with all that stopped to snap photos and strive to convince them that we owned the place. Don't lie, you would do it too...

There is parking in the private garage, and that is where our car stayed the entire time. There were many, many fine dining establishments within an easy walk. Most nights ended with an order of 30 fish tacos at the nearby taco shack! And of course for daytime activities the beach was our front yard.

The house was well equipped and the owners were available for any questions or issues. They were very flexible and easy to work with and made the stay that much more comfortable. I've been to San Diego many times and stayed many places and the experience here was truly top notch.

Would I stay here again? Without a doubt. The next time I stay I plan to bring the kids along with me. Most vacations are not a vacation as long as the kids are around...but at this house I could literally sit in my living room and watch them play at a safe, clean beach. It doesn't get any better than that.
