COME STAY and PLAY in the coziness of our rustic Tennessee mountain log cabin. Formerly Shady Cove now Stevens Teepee is nestled in the foothills of The Great Smokey Mountains. Just minutes away from the Parkway, 6 miles from the entrance to DOLLYWOOD and 3 miles to the golf course. This beautiful cabin has the themes of bears and wilderness, that we all expect when visiting Tennessee. We have chosen 42 in. Led flat screen tv's with Blu Ray DVD for the den. In both bedrooms we have 32 in. Led tv's one with a DVD player. Our kitchen is also newly stocked with all the amenities to prepare your families meals. Also there is a washer and dryer to help make your stay more comfortable. We hope you decide to say with us and if stay in the future we offer a discount to former guest. We installed a Play Station 3 for you and the children's enjoyment. We have two cabins next to each other if you are needing room for larger groups.

We loved our stay at the cabin. Spent a couple night here for our Anniversary and family vacation for fall break and absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back and hope to stay here again really soon!!!!
My family just got home from 4 nights in this beautiful cabin. The location was very convenient to all the main attractions and easy to find. As soon as we walked into the cabin you could smell the cleanliness. The cabin was also fully stocked with not only linens but the kitchen had everything one would need. The hot tub was such a nice addition on those cold Novemeber nights. Our family was truly blessed to be able to stay in such a great cabin with a great owner. Thanks Diane for making this a memorable Thanksgiving.
We thoroughly enjoyed both cabins next store to each other for a family get together. The king size bed downstairs and tv in bedroom was a nice addition!
We recently stayed in this cabin while attending my sons baseball tournament at the Cal Ripken Pigeon Forge Experience (which was only about a 5-10 minute drive.) First off, Diane was wonderful to work with. I called and asked several questions before booking and she answered all them. The cabin was beautiful. My boys loved it from the moment we walked in. We loved the rocking chairs out front on the porch and really enjoyed the hot tub! The kitchen is very well stocked. We can't wait to come back! Thanks again Diane for everything!!!
We state Monday-Friday at this cabin and could have been happier! The location is perfect - close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but far enough away from the noise and busyness. The cabin is perfect for two - romantically or not. I took my grandmother to see the mountains for the first time and she was not disappointed. There are other cabins nearby but they didn't bother us. The kitchen is stocked with bowls, cookware, and even sugar packets (all types). The hot tub worked great. Refrigerator and shower were fine. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. The windows were one of our favorite parts of the cabin. Diane was very nice and easy to work with. VERY reasonable price for such a beautiful cabin!
This was our 5th trip to PF for vacation over the last 7yrs. We love it there and our kids have grown up going there. We've stayed in cabins and hotels in the past just depending on what our plans were at the time. This time we wanted access to PF, but mostly planned to hike & go whitewater rafting. This place was perfect for both. We had easy access to some great hiking trails & rafting during the day, and also had easy access to town for evening activities. Everything was in easy reach. The cabin was comfortable and cozy for me, my wife, 18yo son, and 15yo daughter. [Son got the the bed in the loft and daughter got the couch in living room.] Everything worked [except the blender:]. We saw a mamma bear and her 3 cubs right after we arrived. They were across the street trying to get into a trash can. We had a wonderful stay here and completely satisfied.
I read earlier reviews that were too harsh and inaccurate. The shower was fine for all of us. My son and I are both 6'01", 200lbs- No probs; The water pressure was fine too; The cabin was clean w/no bugs around; Hot tub worked great and so did the AC too [100 deg every day]; As for the view, this is a resort area in the lower foothills. If you want a super great view, get a cabin up in the mountains, but be prepared to drive an hour to get anywhere and pay a lot more as well. The view was fine for where we were. The WIFI worked ok too, but hey this is a cabin surrounded by mountains. It's all about perspective, folks.
We were grateful to Diane for the easy access and availability for any questions, although, I only contacted her to send her pics of the bears. [This was the 1st time in all these years we actually saw bears. Saw another while hiking too.] Everything went smooth for us and we will be back. Thanks Diane!
We have a onsite Chapel and a Play Ground for the kids. Dollywood is a 6 mile drive without getting into traffic. Three mile drive to a golf course.
