This is an excellent apartment right in the middle of downtown Cape Town and within walking distance to the V&A Waterfront. Steve is an excellent host and is very thorough during the check-in process. He is also very accessible during your stay. The building is secure and parking is provided. The view from the apartment of Table Mountain is spectacular. We enjoyed cooking in the apartment and found it an excellent choice for our stay.
Everything about this apartment was fantastic and the views from it were spectacular. I have only marked the communication aspect down due to being asked to use WhatsApp as the method. My phone struggled with this so that was more my fault. Steve gave a thorough handover of the property and was very helpful. It was central, safe and only an easy short drive to the V &A waterfront. I would love to stay here again.

Best Place to Stay in Cape Town!
This condo is an incredible place to stay. My wife and 17-year-old daughter were there for eight nights in May 2019. The view from the Juliet balcony is incredible--the pictures don't do it justice. The two windows on the wall next to the balcony look out toward the eastern part of the city, including Signal Hill. I really enjoyed having my morning coffee and basking in that view.
The master bedroom is spacious and features a comfy bed, while the other bedroom provided a double bed that was fine for the 17-year-old. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils, and we cooked in on two evenings (there's a nearby Shoprite--inexpensive but a little chaotic--and a Woolworth's--pricier but more laid back). Though there's a specialty heater/carafe for making Nescafe, we used the actual coffee maker also on premises.
Adderley Street is pretty busy, and if you walk far you're likely to encounter some fairly aggressive panhandling, which doesn't bother me too much, but might bother some folks. I never felt nervous about any possible crime, but we were careful to be back soon after dark. I walked alone to the Tops Liquor Store (on the same block!) well after dark twice and felt fine.
This property costs the same as nearby hotels and far less than tourist hotels at the V&A, and you get two rooms and a kitchen and an incredible view. We loved it!

Beautiful apartment, great view
This was the perfect spot as our “home” for our two week stay in Cape Town. The apartment has an amazing view and is well appointed for every need. Easy walk to the store, market and gardens and hop on hop off bus. We took an Uber for most trips further afield; pick ups available at our door for tours. Steve was a very warm and helpful host. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

My son is actually the owner, I look after the apartment for him. Senior Citizen, 70+. Maritime background with plenty of traveling since early 1960's Grew up in The Netherlands.

Why Steve Geenen chose Cape Town City Centre
First visited Cape Town in 1964, and finally settled here in 1994. It's the sight of Table Mountain, and the history of South Africa that made me decide to settle here.
