Our prices include concierge, maid service, purified water, phone, WIFI, SKY TV with premium channels, DVD and stereo.

Our gorgeous 2BR/2BA villa at Ensueño 10 hangs like a jewel above Playa La Ropa in Zihuatanejo, Mexico on Calle Delfines.

* Third bedroom available for an additional fee of $50/night

C’est la vie. This is the life. Extraordinary villa at Ensueño 10 overlooking the bay, where French farmhouse meets Costa Grande villa. Ensueño means ‘daydream’ and this villa is a dream both day and night.

Our luxurious condo villa with a rock wall a foot thick (think castle) features spectacular vistas from every room. It is one of just six condos in the compound.

The al fresco living area with its soaring palapa roof is a great place to kick back with a cool drink and enjoy the amazing sunsets over Bahia Zihuatanejo. It features an onyx dining table for 6, a copper topped coffee table, ample couch and chair seating. The breeze flows off the bay though the Parota wood shutters to keep you comfortable and cool.

There is no shortage of lounging available. The terrace/deck has a ‘Bali Bed’ under one palapa, which is really a comfortable double outdoor bed for lying and watching the boats dancing on the bay or the stars flying by. We also have a comfy hammock on the Coco Vista bedroom terrace.

The kitchen features an 6-burner stove, granite counters, ample storage, double sink, microwave, Henckels knives, gourmet cooking pans, coffee maker & grinder, blender, toaster, orange juicer, mini-Cuisinart and numerous chef’s tools. We love to cook!

The dish ware is gorgeous blue and white hand-painted Talavera from Puebla and our glassware is Mexican hand-blown glass. The silverware is beautiful heavy stainless. We also supply you with a filtered water dispenser at the sink.

Each of two the upstairs bedrooms have king-sized beds (great mattresses!), 400+ Italian percale linens and air conditioning, terraces and views! The pillows are Pacific Coast feather and down pillows.

The two upstairs bedrooms have sliding doors with shutters and screens and bed canopies, so you can sleep with the sound of the waves lapping at your dreams. If you would rather, you can close the glass doors and use the AC (we almost never do).

Both bathrooms feature onyx sinks and appointments. The master bath has the most beautiful bathroom with an outdoor shower and a tropical garden and a view to the bay. We have luxury towels and hair dryers in each bathroom.

The casa features in-house WIFI, Satellite TV and DVD player in each upstairs bedroom, a house phone and a portable Bose docking station for your favorite tunes. We have our own washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. We supply beach towels.

You will be happy here.

* Third Bedroom/bathroom suite with separate entrance is available for $50/night additional. The third detached bedroom suite is just seven steps to the pool has a king bed, TV and DVD, mini fridge, coffee maker and bathroom. Its bathroom is nestled right into the bedrock of the hillside. It is extraordinary.

NOT suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Includes THREE TIMES A WEEK maid service.

Please NO children under the age of 12. If you book instantly and have children under 12, then the reservation will be cancelled.

What makes this villa unique

I believe in the sensory experience, and for this reason the villa is a delight to the senses: to the eyes, ears and to the touch.

The acid-washed red Puebla marble floors under your bare feet, the touch of flamed granite counters, the smooth onyx bathrooms and a view terrace that spans the width of the condo.

Ensueño 10 has a lovely green salt-water pool overlooking the bay. The pool area features ample lounge chairs and a fiesta-sized shaded palapa (palm frond roof) with a barbecue and seating.

There is parking for your rental car if you chose to have one.A funicular ascends the hillside to the front door. The air-conditioned gym is outfitted with treadmill, elliptical and free weights.

My mission is to help folks learn to love Zihuatanejo and its surrounding areas as much as we do and to give them the best vacation possible.

I have put together an up-to-date 75-page guide to the area to get you acquainted even before you arrive!

Come enjoy the joy that is Ensueño 10!

* the third bedroom suite is available for an additional charge.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great time! We cannot say enough about your place, we have rented others and by far yours surpasses the others hands down. it’s your attention to detail. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a well-stocked kitchen. it almost made me want to cook all the time. Even our friends that joined us for supper one night commented on it and asked if it was as nice as the unit we were in last year. I told them that your unit was so much nicer.

Any fun things- we’ve been coming to the area for 8 years and this year we decided to take a tour to La Chole. it was very interesting and our kids loved it. As for food we really didn’t eat anywhere new this year besides the Captain’s Daughter. We thought it was good so we did bring our kids there when they arrived.

I know you asked me about Las Gatas and it we had gone, we had a discussion with Lynda and told her that we really didn’t like it because of the fact the restaurant people were always hounding us so we were very reluctant to take your gift. All I can say about that was WOW our minds have changed we loved Thierry’s not only will I recommend it: we will be back.

The staff- We loved Eddie, he is such a nice guy can‘t say enough good things about him. On our last day he even brought us ice cream from his future father-in-law’s ice cream shop. He is a super nice guy and always had a smile and a friendly way about him. I forgot the older security guards name but he was also great and made sure we had the cab pick us up and drop us off at the door always making sure to get the cab number and the name of the driver. Lynda was an absolute dream to work with. She is such a nice lady you are really lucky to have her along with the others mentioned. The cleaning gal also did a great job.

The funicular- we only used it twice once when Eddie put us in it and the day we left we placed our luggage in it and sent it down stairs. We thought we could walk faster that it moved so we just used the stairs but is sure is handy if you have trouble with stairs, lots of groceries or luggage.

Great view, accessible to all fun

  • 5 of 5

Ensueno 10, Casa 2 was a beautiful place to stay. Lynda made us feel at home and taken care of. One evening we had a chef, Maricela, cook dinner for us and it was delicious! The view is absolutely breathtaking, with a vista over the bay and Playa La Ropa. It was easy to walk into town and to the beaches, Playa Madera, Playa La Ropa, and even a rocky hike to Playa Las Gatas, although is cheap and easy to take a boat to Las Gatas if you're not up for climbing over a few rocks. We took a cab back up the hill after our adventures each day for a very nominal price. We felt very safe and being in the area during Holy Week (Semana Santa) allowed us to feel a part of the joy of the nationals on the beaches and in the town. On our beach days, we got there early and staked out a table on the sand in front of a cafe. As long as you order some food and beverages, they treat you like family and you have a great spot for viewing all the activity on the beach from a shady chair. The house itself was comfortable, with a bathroom in each bedroom, plenty of seating for the 5 of us in our party, and a wonderful infinity pool and sitting area. We could go to bed and listen to the waves lapping on the shore below. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We Love This Condo!

  • 5 of 5

This is the third year in a row my family, friends and I have visited Zihuatanejo. If you are looking for outstanding beaches, wonderful food, a genuine Mexican experience and more importantly, the warmth and spirit of the Mexican people, it’s all here. And without a doubt this condo is where you should stay. The breathtaking view is worth the trip alone! JUST. DO. IT!

Beautiful, serene, quiet and the perfect place to unwind.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week in February 2018 and we couldn't have asked for a better VRBO in this wonderful, sleepy little village. Harriett's home is beautiful and incredibly comfortable to stay in, the pictures don't do it justice.

The location is GREAT! It's a few blocks from the white, sandy beach and all of its fun, tasty beachside restaurants AND within walking distance to Zihuatanejo (20 mins on foot). It is hilly, and the drive up to the home is very steep but certainly walkable. A quick dive into the pool makes for a perfect ending to the hike up from the beach. We walked into Zihuatanejo several mornings to shop at the markets or explore and then would take a taxi back home.

The home is spacious, the beds very comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked and high end. Bedrooms are air-conditioned, the bathrooms are beautiful and have all of the necessary things you will need. It's very quiet at night, just the sound of the waves hitting the beach. We rarely saw other guests and felt like we had the entire complex to ourselves most of the time.

And then there is Lynda!! She is amazing, sweet, kind and willing to offer up advice on whatever you want to do. She made our time there very special, - thank you, thank you, thank you, Lynda!

Owner's Response: Dear MIcki and Jeff- Now, to tell you the truth, Lynda told me that you two were the BEST guests that she had ever had! And I am so blessed to have Lynda. Friend, confidante, concierge, manager and did I say, friend? About the photos! I know! I am trying to get a professional photographer in to take some decent photos. However, that being said, wasn’t it wonderful to arrive and find out the villa was even better than pictured?! LOL. I bought a condo so that I could have a good mattress and bed linens! I almost never use the AC except occasionally in the hot summer months. I love listening to the sound of the waves and feeling the fresh ocean breeze at night, so I sleep with the doors wide open. Please come stay with us again! Kind Regards, Harriet

Lovely view in paradisiacal setting

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 2-wk stay at C’est La Vie. Highlights include: early morning forays to buy fresh fish off the boats, colorful sunsets, fresh squeezed juice from Maria Isabella, a day fishing and snorkeling, swimming in the ocean and infinity pool, and walks to downtown and the beach. The condo could be featured in House Beautiful magazine. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare gourmet dinners, the beds were very comfortable and the decor was exquisite. Lynda was very helpful and Yolanda did a great job cleaning. Despite the proximity to the beach it was very quiet and private. Air conditioning in the bedrooms felt divine as the late afternoons were very warm. Did I mention the view?? It was mesmerizing. We hope to visit again for a winter sun break. Gracias!

Owner's Response: Mary Beth, thank you! What a great review! You summarized everything that I feel about C’est la Vie: I have tried to endow it with all the comforts of home –YOUR home for the two weeks! I am quite fond o f the fact that you can see the breakers on the beach and hear them caress your ears like la mer, la mere that she is. I am blessed to have both Lynda and Yolanda on staff. They have both worked with me for many years. House Beautiful? I LOVE that! I, too, am quite fond of my décor. LOL. I actually have had a house of mine in Better Homes and Gardens before, so there you go! Please come again! Kind Regards, Harriet Owner

I wish there were 7 stars...

We stayed here the beginning of December 2017. The pictures do NOT relate the beauty of the space. We loved our stay. Lynda is perfect. The staff was awesome. Harriett made our stay the best vacation e.v.e.r. We can't wait to return. You need to reserve your time ASAP. The pool was a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed the other owners/ visitors making friends immediately. Far enough away from the bustle and bustle of the tourist area and close we enough to the real Mexico. Book now!

Owner's Response: Dear Dave N.- Wow. Your review blew me away. Thank you so much! LOL. I am here now trying to get some photos of the great details like the onyx tables and bathrooms and the local art. I love that you love my place. I try to have the casa be as graceful and warm and inviting as possible. I know that details like fresh flowers, the gorgeous hand-made talavera dinnerware, good knives and heavy cutlery make a huge difference to the day to day experience. I want to make C’est la Vie as gracious and lovely as home…or even better. You were fantastic guests and I know that Lynda enjoyed having you here as well. We are eager to have you back! Warm Regards, Harriet
