Wedding in Homer

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Lee St. Cottage while in Homer to attend a friends wedding at the Driftwood Inn. It was my boyfriend and I and two friends. The cottage was perfect for our needs and was so close to the venue.

Our family was quite happy with the cottage at Homer, nice quiet area and it had everything that we needed. Best part out 5 yr old really liked the Homer House and when he’s happy we all are 😁 We will remember this place on our next trip to Homer.

Great location - very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The location of this house was perfect for everything Homer has to offer. We walked to the beach each morning and enjoyed the views from the upstairs area and outside deck. Four of us spent two very comfortable nights in this house. The owners made the rental process very easy and made themselves available if needed (not needed). We will look forward to another visit to Homer. Thank You!

Beautiful cozy house

  • 5 of 5

The house has everything you would want. Upstairs It has lovely views of the Kachemak Bay and the Homer Spit. We didn't see the moose that sometimes come in to the back yard but we did see sandhill cranes in the neighborhood. Loved it!

Perfect cottage and stay

  • 5 of 5

Our kids loved the loft bedroom space. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and food staples. Upstairs porch had a great view and overall serene feel with the landscaping and shrubbery. Sue left a lot of tips and instructions for places in town. Perfect place and would gladly stay again.

About Sue Post & Jim Levine

Life long Alaskan- family has lived in Homer and owned independent bookstore here since 1978. I play in an African Marimba Band (Shamwari) and also play French Horn in the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra. My husband and I own 2 dogs and love x-c skiing and hiking with them whenever possible. We have kayaked and explored our local bay and beaches nearby. I can be found most days 2 blocks away at the Homer Bookstore.

Sue Post & Jim Levine purchased this house in 2010

Why Sue Post & Jim Levine chose Homer

We wanted a home my dad and stepmom could come visit and be close to us, plus our home is at a higher elevation and there are days in the winter we wanted to be able to stay closer to town in case of bad winter storms.

What makes this house unique

We love the brightness of this home and the fact that it is so close to most of the shopping and restaurants and movie theatre in town.
