About Lynsay

This is a privately owned house/ chalet. My husband and I live in Revelstoke, and are parents of 4 young children. We love to travel and know how difficult it is finding a place to sleep lots of people comfortably so have tried our best to make sure this house does exactly that.

Why Lynsay chose British Columbia Rockies

Location to the Ski hill.

What makes this chalet unique

The house is large enough to sleep large groups comfortably. Nice to be able to be all together rather than separate hotel rooms. A big dinning room table to enjoy big get together meals etc.

Great stay at great resort

  • 5 of 5

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the powder lodge. We are nervous when booking a place we have never been to but were very satisfied with the result. Its very fairly priced for what you get, actually its inexpensive for what you get. We loved the privacy, and the outdoor hot tub was a great way to sooth the first ski of the year. It was cold on the resort but would like to come back in the season.

Fantastic Stay

  • 5 of 5

We rented this lodge for my birthday and had a fantastic time. The place is clean and has everything you need. It is close to the ski hill and we used the Rockford at the base for a few dinners and were able to walk home.

The hot tub is a great way to relax after a hard day skiing and to have the full kitchen is perfect. I will be booking to stay on my next trip and will book early as I know this place fills up quickly. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and she is so accommodating

Highly recommend the powder lodge

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. The powder lodge served as a perfect base for us. It's really well set up and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was my favourite part but honestly I couldn't fault the place. Brilliant location and the owners were very helpfully. We can't wait to book up again. Would definitely recommend.

Great little spot

  • 4 of 5

The house is a renovated 1970's place about an 8 minute walk from the gondola. The exterior still looks 70's, but the interior is really nicely renovated. The main level is social and open with the bedrooms both upstairs or downstairs. The downstairs gear room is a nice add-on.

The sauna was broken and a few touch-ups are still required, but other than that everything was very good. Potable water is not available at the house but the owners provided a bottled water system.

The owners are helpful and well organized and have a reasonably convenient check-in procedure. Unfortunately they have key locks instead of keyless entry which means if you have people coming and going you either need to hide a key or leave it unlocked.

Overall, we had a very nice experience. And the skiing and snowboarding at Revelstoke mountain is great!
