Unobstructed Ocean View Condo, 2 Bedrooms + 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6), Bay View Too

We love a SPACIOUS condo with a FANTASTIC BEACH, not too many units in the complex, FRIENDLY PEOPLE and that is what we found on the fifth floor in Suntide II. Our TOP FLOOR condo gives us the BEST VIEW of the OCEAN and the SUNRISES, the best view of BAY SUNSETS, local fireworks and is up high enough to limit noise from the pool/hot tub area yet still being able to watch our friends and family. We enjoy our wide PRIVATE BALCONY to watch people strolling on the beach, people playing volleyball, pelicans in the air, surfers, kite boarders, kayakers, wind surfers and many more beach activities. We RECENTLY REMODELED our condo with granite counter tops, tile walk in shower in the master bath, new vanity, paint and more. The living room and master bedroom have a VAULT CEILING for added comfort and the common living area is open and bright thanks to a wall of windows looking out at the ocean. EACH BEDROOM HAS IT'S OWN BATH and bedroom two has an extra single bed. Our unit is located half way between the elevators (approx. 20 steps) and the last unit on the fifth floor which helps minimize noise. Also, for added convenience we're about 30 steps away from the laundry room that has 2 washers and 2 dryers (new in 2012). We love our unit because it is not too 'high in the air' so we can see people having fun in the pool/hot tub area or on the beach or in the ocean. We hope you enjoy our home away from home as much as we do when we visit. South Padre Island has a variety of things to do or just sit around and relax taking in all that nature has to offer.  All reservations require an initial Reservation Hold Payment of $350.00, and full payment is required if the arrival date is less than (30) days.

 All reservation balances must be paid in full (30) days prior to the arrival date.

 All reservations will include the following:

 Cleaning Fee: $59.00 -$95.00 (Based on reservation type & season)

 Reservation Fee: $25.00

 Processing Fee: 3% of total rental before taxes (if balance is paid with a major credit card)

 Cancellation policy will allow the renter to cancel (30) days prior to the arrival date for a full refund. No exceptions on the cancellation policy.

 Same day reservations will not be accepted without Management approval.

 Check- in starts after 4:00 PM, and check-out time is at 11:00 AM. Special requests for an early check-in must be approved by Management.

 Extra- occupancy in the condo must be authorized by management. (Fee will apply for each occupant beyond the maximum occupancy, but no more than (2) extra occupants).

Well appointed condo w/awesome view of the gulf side surf, sand, & sunrise & bay side sunset!

We really enjoyed the location of this condo since it's on the top floor of Suntide II. It's located in the middle of the right hand side of the building, elevator and the laundry room with a view of the pool/hot tub.(only 2 condos beyond 507 on the floor). Each bedroom has it's own bath. Open floor plan from kitchen to living room to enjoy with your friends and family. Fully equipped kitchen is well appointed with in door ice/water in french door refrigerator. Six very comfortable outside balcony chairs to enjoy. As soon as we opened the front door, the beachy decor really made us feel like we on vacation. Restaurants are all around, some within walking distance. We will make this our home away from home. Thank you for a great condo!

Excellent property for the price

This late 70's couple fully enjoyed this very nice condo for an eight day respite from Missouri winter--it helped that SPI weather happened to be gorgeous during our entire stay. The beach is very close, pool and deck area are convenient and very nice. Everything is in good repair and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Kitchen is ample and well equipped. Because of protective coverings on beds and pillows, we suggest that guests bring their own mattress pad and pillows--our only complaint. SPI has many good eating spots--we particularly enjoyed the Sea Ranch.

Nice, well maintained condo unit

My wife, daughter and I love SPI and have visited several times. This time we decided to get a condo vs staying at the Hilton. This unit was very nice, located on the top floor. Rooms were nice and clean and beds were all very comfortable. Brand new shower in the Master bathroom was very nice. Tasteful decorations and overall very nice. I would not use the term luxurious to describe this condo, but I don't think one should expect luxury in a rental condo unit, unless you are paying far more than the rates here. Bottom line, you get your money's worth.

The views from the balcony are great, and easy access to the beach. Condo is located close to the middle part of SPI, so getting to restaurants, grocery stores, etc is easy (it's not that big of an island anyway!). We love coming to SPI because it is laid back and not pretentious at all. If you come here expecting to eat at fancy restaurants and lots of high end shopping, you will be disappointed. SPI is for people who like wearing shorts, t-shirts and flip flops everywhere on their vacation.

Our only real complaint about the place was that the wifi was horrible. I think my old 14.4 dial-up modem would have been faster. We only watched the television a few times and it was good, but on vacation we try to keep the TV off and read! We would rent this condo again.

Beautiful Location, Gorgeous Beach!!

The condo unit was very nice, and very roomy for two couples. There was a beautiful view from the front door and from the living room and back deck. We enjoyed taking walks along the beach every morning and watching the sun set at night. It was close to restaurants and activities. It was also close to the pool which we enjoyed. The pool was never crowded; and sometimes like our own private pool. We enjoyed the dolphin cruise and several nearby restaurants. Very relaxing spot in paradise!!

Doesn't get much better

close your eyes and imagine sitting on the balcony on the beach sipping a margarita, listening to the waves, feeling the cool ocean breezes, now open and voila there you are in SPI staying in this condo. It was all this and more. The condo itself was gorgeous, great kitchen (my yardstick for places we stay) could even make a turkey dinner. Rooms were very comfortable, all in all it doesn't get much better.This condo is right and I mean right on the beach, stand on the balcony and watch the ocean. We heartily recommend staying here and enjoying paradise.

With the full kitchen you, your family and friends can enjoy quality time around the kitchen table or out on the balcony watching and listening to the ocean. In the morning bring your coffee out on the balcony and watch the sun rise. Or, how about reading a book or listening to your ipod on the front patio area waiting for the sun to set? Relax. Enjoy your time at Suntide II's complex and the easily accessible beach.

Can't wait to return!

The view from this top floor condo would be hard to beat! Watching the sunrise, beachgoers and listening to the surf from the balcony is heavenly. We love the vaulted ceiling in this unit, as it provides such an airy and roomy feel with the added sunlight and height. The backyard IS the beach along with an inviting pool and hot tub. Grillin' and chillin' recommended.

Myself and various family members have stayed in this condo on numerous occasions over several years, both before and after the renovations - LOVE the updates, particularly the master bath! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear and dishes ... but ... we sure enjoy being within walking distance to losts of yummy restaurants.

Bottom line, this unit has the charm of a vacation condo, yet feels as comfortable as home.

I can heartily recommend this property as a vacation destination.
