Absolutely beautiful house, spacious, well-appointed, really excellent place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved staying at Sean's place in Asbury. The house was big and beautiful - more than enough space for two families - and had everything we needed. A short walk to the beach and boardwalk, as well as downtown AP with all its restaurants and shops. And Sean was incredibly responsive and helpful - excellent host. Would love to stay here again!

I Died and Went to Hydrangea Heven

  • 5 of 5

First I fell in love with a photo.

A photo of a beautiful, stately Victorian lady, lovingly restored to the grandeur of an earlier era, a real home with an expansive wraparound porch engulfed with burgeoning banks of hydrangea, nestled on a quiet small-town street.

I then fell in love with the house itself.

What I feared might turn out to be the result of a professionally airbrushed beauty shot in a real estate offices window, to my delight turned out to be the actual house in the picture.

This home is every bit as lovely as the photos show her to be.

As a first timer to Asbury Park, visiting along with my family as part of a milestone birthday celebration, I was taking a huge leap of faith renting a house in a town on which I had never laid eyes previously.

We could not have been more pleased.

I can highly recommend this home, without qualm, to any prospective renter.

The house itself is centrally located, and is an easy walk both to town

( which is amazing by the way, very metropolitan, with great shopping, bars and dining options ), and to the boardwalk and beautiful beach.

The owners were friendly, helpful, accessible, and a dream to work with, even going so far as answering my inquires from their vacation in Europe.

The only drawback I can conceive of, if you can even call it one, will be that you will find it extremely difficult to venture forth beyond this heavenly porch.

Thank you Gentlemen for sharing your beautiful home with the world.

You've done an exquisite job making her whole again.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had stayed in Asbury last summer for a short weekend, and loved the town so much, We decided to rent a shore house this year but wanted to rent something that would be larger so our family could come, see Asbury, and have a place to relax on the beach along with us. This house is the perfect house!! It literally came equipped with everything you need for cooking, chairs for laying out on the beach, the beds are comfortable, the house was immaculate, I mean....you name it! Not only that, it is a close walk to both the beach and the downtown area which has shopping, a farmers market and restaurants that are amazing. The owners are so friendly, they were always available and made sure we had everything we wanted or needed, right down to some of the paint colors in the house! The renovations that were done are beautiful and the porch isarare gem, and is where we spent time eating, talking, and enjoying the beautiful weather. So glad we found this house, and met the owners. We hope to definitely book again!

Asbury's Best!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this beautiful home for a relaxing and peaceful week at the beach. It was everything we expected and more. The house is perfectly located right in the middle of Asbury. An easy to walk to the boardwalk and downtown.

Gorgeous, large porch with plenty of comfortable seating, dining area and porch swing! We loved spending our days outside reading. Also loved all the beautiful flowers surrounding the property.

The interior is tastefully furnished with all the amenities of home. Large, fully functional kitchen, two living areas, large dining room, and three very comfortable bedrooms, two of which have television sets. The house comes with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board and grill for outdoor cooking. The showers in the bathrooms are spacious with spa features.

The owners were very helpful and communicative. The only thing I would suggest is that include a fact sheet with the house including basic info such as where the beach chairs are located and when/where to put the trash etc. That would be most helpful.

An incredible stay!! I highly recommend and would definitely rent this house again. Missing that porch!

Lovely beach rental

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful trip and a very positive experience with this rental. The house is comfortable, spacious and clean. It's been beautifully and meticulously renovated with lots of great period details but also retaining a classic modern feel. It's obvious that a lot of work has been put into this house. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with, very accommodating and a great resource when we needed information. The house is an easy walk to the beach and the center of asbury park where you can find lots of great restaurants, shops and bars.

The kitchen had quality pots, pans and other tools for cooking, there are umbrellas and chairs for the beach and a gas grill. There's a nice backyard space and beautiful landscaping all around the house. There was also center a/c.

The only thing I would mention that might not be obvious from the listing is that there is a rental unit on the top floor of the house. It wasn't a problem since the renter was quiet and friendly and the unit has a separate entrance from the rest of the house but we didn't realize about the renter until we arrived.

I would definitely rent here again and highly recommend it.
