This area hosts some of Gloucester's, and America's, richest maritime history. The harbor is the oldest seaport in US history. Remnants of this fishing town are still alive and well. Rezpned in recent years, the old Fort and Flats area as well as the old Birdseye factory create an environment of a renewal with antiquity. You are within walking distance to many conveniences and restaurants, both for locals and tourists.
Walk to the beach, downtown, and trains, notably the MBTA commuter rail to Boston and other North Shore towns.
Walk to the beach, playground, restaurants, supermarket, train station.

You can walk to nearby shops and restaurants. Even the Shaw's supermarket is just .7 miles. On Railroad Ave are banks, shops and the commuter rail to Boston.
