My wife and I had the good fortune to rent Sylvie's studio apartment in the 7th for the first 3 weeks this October. We found it to be surprising spacious for a studio. Very reasonably price and a perfect location. Sylvie did a great job with the decor..very modern and uncluttered, huge clothes closet, well appointed kitchen, everything to make our stay comfortable. Sylvie was a most gracious host and went out of her way, more than once to make us feel catered to. Great location for shopping for all of our needs. Easy access to bus and metro. Only a couple of blocks to a taxi station for our departure from C. DeGaulle airport. I can enthusiastically recommend Sylvie's rental.
I had the distinct pleasure to stay at Sylvie’s charming apartment in the heart of the 7th arrondissement for a long-term stay (4 months). The location is fantastic! A stone throw away from the twinkling lights of the Eiffel tower, this is the perfect Parisian home away from home. Rue Cler, the darling street lined with boulangeries, cafes, restaurants, flower shops, fromageries and wine stores is a 5-minute walk from the apartment. Two metro stations (Line 8) are within 5 minutes of the apartment making it easy to get to any destination. The apartment itself is quaint with the functionality and ease of modern-day appliances and décor. Sylvie’s apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, a washing machine, espresso maker, large closets and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Her chic little apartment offered a cozy, clean and safe atmosphere with a beautiful courtyard to gaze upon. Sylvie is lovely. Her English is impeccable, and she is very helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend Sylvie’s apartment for a short or long-term stay. Thank you Sylvie, I can’t wait to stay there again. ☺
In September 2014 I had the pleasure of staying at Sylvie's apartment for 11 days. Perfect location for walking to many major sights. #69 bus nearby is a great option for getting to other neighborhoods and sights. The building is old (like most buildings in central Paris), but the apartment was clean, well-equipped with modern bathroom and kitchen appliances, and had lots of closet and storage space. Much more spacious than the 4 star hotel I stayed at for a couple of nights. Croissants at the boulangerie downstairs were addictive. The fresh groceries, wine, cheese, and take-out meals along the Rue Cler made it easy to gather ingredients for a quiet evening meal at home after a busy day. During my stay there was roof construction and scaffolding on the building, so it was noisy during the day. Sylvie had advised me in advance and kindly adjusted the rent to compensate for the inconvenience. No sleeping in, but who wants to sleep when Paris is waiting outside your door. Without the workers around, this is a quiet location overlooking the courtyard. I would definitely recommend the apartment for anyone who wants to "experience" Paris. Ideal for solo traveller and I felt safe. I think a couple would also be comfortable here if you don't mind a double bed. Why not be cozy? After all, you're in the city of love :). Sylvie's English is very good, she's professional and pleasant to deal with. She provided tips for getting to know the neighborhood, as well as restaurant recommendations, and she returned my damage deposit promptly. Enjoyed the wine on arrival! Thanks, Sylvie and Carole.
We stayed a week and had a great experience. The room was very quiet most of the time and faces the interior courtyard. It is nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The kitchen is equipped with the basics for simple cooking plus a Nespresso machine. We enjoyed listening to Radio Nova - 101.5 FM on the radio. The bakery across the street to the east is excellent and there is so much close by. The Paris metro stop is only about 3 blocks away. There are grocery stores just a block or two west. Sylvie made sure we had everything we needed and that we had directions to where we were going. Because of her work, it can sometimes take a few days to hear back via email, but she followed up on everything as promised and was a great host. We would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was lovely, it starts as you enter the courtyard, it is filled with wonderful flower beds, and you get the feeling of home. Sylvie has furnished the apartment with everything you need, and the view from th windows onto the courtyard were a plus. The location was perfect as well, a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, close to subway. I loved that it was so neaar Rue Cler....I would so recommend this apartment...thank you Sylvie for sharing your apartment.
Great location in the heart of Paris! Convenient and a very safe area. The apartment is clean and well-equipped. There are so many lovely restaurants just around the corner. If you fancy a home cooked meal, Rue Cler Market is just 5 minutes away. The good thing about this apartment is that it faces the courtyard, away from the hustle and bustle. I had no problem with sleeping! Having a lift is also a bonus especially you have luggages with you. Sylvie always response to the email. Sometimes she may take a few more days to response but this is because she is overseas. So don't panic too much. Is a great place to stay and I will definitely come back!
