Cute cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

I stayed there 6 days with my family over the Christmas holiday and it was a very pleasant experience. The cabin itself is very cozy and we enjoyed spending time as a family by the fireplace each night. It was my families first time in a cabin in TN, and this met our expectations. And if anything was wrong the owner was very quick to respond and accommodating. I would definitely come back again!

Great accommodations!

We stayed November 25-27, 2017...and actually had our wedding ceremony on the front porch of the cabin on Sunday evening, and it was beautiful! I would highly recommend this cabin rental to anyone!

West Tennessee

Nice enough but pics need updating

  • 3 of 5

We were a little unsure if we were pulling up to the right house when we arrived. The pictures show this nice green yard but instead we see dirt, 2 large fallen trees and lots of hill. There was a large old tv sitting on the side of the house. It just needs some basic maintenance and upkeep done and it would be back in it's original shape I'm sure. There were tons of cobwebs on both porches and also inside the house. The ceiling fans haven't seen a duster in months. The floors were very scuffed up throughout the house. There were a couple of lights out like I have read on previous reviews but we did ok without them. It wasn't all bad though. There are flat screen tvs in each room that get Charter cable. Free wifi worked great. The kitchen is well stocked with your basic supplies you would need to prepare a meal. Pllenty of towels in both bathrooms. I do recommend bringing some laundry detergent just in case you need to wash a load. The hot tub was nice to come back to and relax at night. The loft area is nice. There is a bedroom, full bathroom, and small pool table upstairs and then the 2nd bedroom and bathroom downstairs. In the winter you probably have a little view of the mountains. There were still lots of leaves on the trees when we went so we didn't have a view. It is a little bit of a pain to get to but it's doable. If coming from Pigeon Forge you do have to cross over a couple of lanes of traffic to get to the road. It sometimes takes awhile on those busy days but we didn't have to wait long. The road itself that the cabin is located on is a little steep but my Rogue did it no problem. I probably wouldn't want to stay there when it snowed though. The driveway was fine for one car but more than that you have to do some maneuvering. There is a little turn around area in the driveway but you can't back too far or you'll back down a hill. It is somewhat private due to trees but there are cabins pretty close.

About Darren

My wife and I and our two boys. We love our cabin in the Smokeys.

Darren purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Darren chose Sevierville

For a few years we rented cabins in the Gatinburg/ Pigeon Forge area. We always went with some rental company and paid a lot. A couple of years ago we decided to buy one because we were going up so much and we are only 3 hours away. We just hope someone will enjoy our cabin and save some money on their stay as well. So much cheaper through VRBO

What makes this cabin unique

We love the location of our cabin. It is in between Gatinburg and Pigeon Forge. 5-10 minutes to either one but is secluded up in the wonderful smokey mountains. Our family always get season passes to Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country. Our boys love both places. We also enjoy the wonderful Smokey Mountain National Park. We take picnics and play on the rocks in the river. There is also so many good places to eat up there. We love the Chop House at the Tanger Outlets and also enjoy the shopping there. We have made so many great memories at our cabin. Always great at Christmas too.
