I co-own this property with my two sisters. We are a family that appreciates the outdoors, pets, family events, and having a good time!
Ryan purchased this Cabin in 1981
Why Ryan chose Red Lodge
Our family has owned this property for over 30 years and we have enjoyed years of holidays and family gatherings here. We still use the property for ourselves, but we also enjoy allowing others to use it for their own vacations and family gatherings. We are originally from the Billings, MT area.
What makes this Cabin unique
Skiing, Yellowstone Park, Grand Tetons National Park, access to Rock Creek, local trailheads, and downtown Red Lodge!

Quiet, in the woods
Nice stay, we had to be out of our home due to wood floor refinish. Great place for the two dogs and two cats and us. Ryan provided everything we needed.
Quiet, clean & cozy
The cabin is just outside of town, nestled in the trees, so there's no road noise. It's very quiet, which I much needed! My bed was comfy, and the sheets and towels were fantastic. It may be rustic, but very comfortable.
Ryan was quick to respond and friendly!
Thanks so much! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Come again soon!!
Stuffy, beds unmade, ant infestation, no hot water, grass too tall to use yard
Two of the four in our group had huge allergy flare ups inside this cabin. It was so stuffy even with all the windows open.
One of the three beds was completely unmade, we had to search the cabin for sheets to make it ourselves. We also had to find sheets for the futon.
The addition room attached to the living room had an ant infestation. There were ants everywhere along the door wall and window walls.
The hot water wasn't working or wasn't hooked up, so we couldn't shower like we had expected to be able to. There was a hot water heater but no note or anything if we were supposed to turn it on or something to get it going.
There was a front and side 'lawn' area, picnic table, and fire pit, but the grass hadn't been mowed in who knows how long so we weren't able to use any of that area.
The location was nice and close to Red Lodge and was on a very quiet road.
I'm sorry to hear that your stay was less than perfect! We want to make sure all our guests have a great experience. In the future, please let me know right away if there is an issue and I will do my best to fix or mitigate it!
We have mowed the yard (and continue to do so). Unfortunately when you are located in the woods, each spring brings new challenges... this year it was ants! We have fixed that problem as well.
I hope you enjoyed Red Lodge, and we would be happy to host you again.
Sweet place. Very clean. Easy to find. Plenty of room for a family of 8 to kick back and sleep.
After several days in a tent, this cabin was a much needed stay. It was nicely stocked with kitchen utensils, linens, games and even a flat screen
TV to catch a bit of the Olympics, an unexpected treat- yeah! Everything was very clean. The owner of the cabin was also prompt in responding to our questions.
Cute cabin. Has everything you need. Good location. Only negative is that they were missing some toiletry items (toilet paper etc). I was instructed to call the cleaners about it but their phone went straight to voice mail each time I tried so we had to go back in to town to get some things which was a pain.
Pros: The property, situated in an attractive aspen grove, is quiet, secluded, and out of town but close to services. It is located midway between the high altitude SR 212 hikes on the other side of Beartooth Pass and those off CR 78. For our party of two it was spacious and rather comfortable with a reasonably sized kitchen, good TV and cable and limited Internet. The owner was responsive to issues that arose and they were corrected.
Cons: Hot water pressure in the shower is marginal. The furniture is somewhat worn. The kitchen is sparsely equipped. The "sun room" becomes stiflingly hot in the summer, a problem for larger parties than ours.
