Appointed with beautiful granite countertops and new solid maple cabinets throughout - hardwood floors and new appliances - keyless electronic locks - built in Desks and closets in the bedrooms - beach gear - fans in every room - washer/dryer (only unit with this in-house feature) - new paint throughout - less money nightly than most single hotel rooms (you will save more on food than the cost of the whole vacation)! All this and incredible views - a Lanai that stretches almost 40' that is absolutely oceanfront - this well manicured property goes right up to touch the beach - right at the beginning of Kauai's famous 8 mile long bike path.

Great family get away
We had 6 people (4 adults, 2 teens) stay at the unit. It was very comfortable for everyone. The view was beautiful, pool was enjoyed as was walking on the beach. It was well equipped with towels, soap, beach gear and washer/dryer. The kitchen was small and a little warm for cooking, but the dinning table sat everyone comfortable and with a great view. The added fans in all the bedrooms was a plus as well.
Great home in an amazing location.
Excellent beach front location with great pool in lawn space and play area and snorkel pool a short walk away. Comfortable, clean and well stocked roomy condo with amazing view of ocean and pool. Two big Lanai areas with lounging and dining furniture and balcony entry area for shoe removal and toy storage. Lots of beach gear. Very responsive host. Wonderful for our family of 5 adults and two children. Quiet and relaxing.
Beautiful view, but condo is in need of updating
We enjoyed our visit to Kaha Lani. Peter's condo is located in a quiet, yet convenient, location to all the sights Kauai has to offer. While the condo is on the third floor, with no elevator, the view is worth it. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation. However, the living room furniture is old, uncomfortable, and musty. One of the recliners is broken. The bathrooms are in need of updating. The once beautiful wood floors are in very bad shape, especially in the bathrooms, with a visible hole near the entrance to the master bath.
Ouch, my sincere apologies if you found our home less than satisfactory. I always check with our visitors (as I did with you) and am accessible 24/7 by phone, text and e mail - I wish you had notified me of your dissatisfaction sometime during your 2 week stay so we could have addressed your issues.
This has been an extremely rough winter - it has been cold and wet since September and the humidity has been off the chart - unfortunately oceanfront properties bare the brunt of the discomfort. We had ordered new furniture and it began arriving on island in the last few days and much of what you spoke of has already been replaced. We always address any issues that come up and welcome feedback (hopefully during your stay). Our apologies.
Great view and great location
We stayed at three different residences on our trip and this rental was by far the best. The views of the morning sunrises were worth it by themselves. A nice ocean breeze helped keep the humidity down and comfort level up. The furnishings were up to date and comfortable and the residence was very clean.
The pool is perfect for cooling off after a long day and the community grills were in great shape. Beach access is just a short walk away; very manageable with our 4 year old.
Being on the east side of the island felt like a good central location. Drives to the north or south end of the island were easy from here.
We loved this property so much that we actually considered walking away from our other rentals to go back, had it been available, which unfortunately, it was not.
I would highly recommend staying here. Peter provided us a list of plenty of attractions in the area, and although we didn't interact with him, he made himself easily available if we needed him. If we return to the island, we will definitely try to stay here again!
We loved the location as it was central to the north part of the island and also to the south. It was close to the airport and shopping (Costco and Walmart) as well. The condo was spacious and served us well. We loved the large deck and the stunning ocean view. The pool and BBQ area was very clean and a great place to lounge and swim. The beach directly in front of the property was definitely a hidden gem. Very beautiful and private. You can walk the beach for miles either way. Another big bonus is being in close proximity to Lydgate Park and the protected swimming area. The only downside is the highway can be busy with traffic usually in the morning and late afternoon around work schedules but we quickly learned to travel off peak hours for traffic. Overall a wonderful vacation in a beautiful spot. Highly recommended! Can't wait to come back!
The pictures let you know it’s nice but when you arrive you are in awe of the view. Will definitely come back and tell my friends as well.
