Professionally decorated with comfort and aesthetics in mind, C3 offers the best of modern Hawaiian living. Our ground floor unit is ideally positioned to offer panoramic, uninterrupted ocean views, with the Pacific ocean as your back yard. Watch seasonal whales breaching, tow in surfing and the endless rainbow filled Kauai sky from most spots in the condo. Because our home is positioned in such a way that you do not see other units, this cliff-edge unit truly feels private. The ground floor offers easy access to the lush bluff for stargazing, sunrise and sunset viewing as well as amazing photo opportunities.

This one bedroom one bathroom unit is ideal for two, but sleeps up to four, with a queen size platform bed and a queen size sofa bed. Our returning guests will notice the continual improvements to the condo, including the newly remodeled bathroom featuring a walk in shower and granite countertops and a new mattress (2017).The condo is equipped with a well-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, flat screen TV with over 300 channels including HBO, high speed Internet with wifi, digital phone (free local and long distance calls to anywhere on the mainland), DVD player, ipod/CD sound system, snorkeling and beach equipment, and reading library.

We utilized a professional designer to select quality Crate and Barrel pieces shipped from the mainland, and filled in a few pieces with high end furniture from a premiere Hawaiian furniture store. The sounds of the ocean will lull you to sleep on the queen size bed featuring a carefully chosen, plush pillow top mattress. To further complement your sleep, we have installed a ceiling fan above the bed and provided an assortment of pillows from feather soft to firm. Our bed linens and towels are both plentiful and highly rated. In addition, we have installed a pune’e (Hawaiian for window seat) in the living room alcove for those perfect afternoon naps. Another long window seat is located in the bedroom.

The Sealodge I complex is at the end of a small side road, with no through traffic, and is very quiet and peaceful. The property has magnificently maintained tropical gardens, an unheated pool and a designated charcoal barbecue area. Sealodge offers free guest parking with the provided placard. A short jungle hike from the condo brings you to Sealodge Beach, where you may just have the beach completely to yourself (with the exception of the occasional Hawaiian Monk Seal). We are within a short drive to the world famous beaches of Hanalei Bay (15 min), Tunnels (25 min) and Ke’e beach (30 min). Few beaches in the world match the views here.

Princeville is a planned resort community overlooking the Pacific Ocean where lush, green mountains meet crystal-clear waters with beautiful uncrowded beaches. The resort’s centerpiece are its award-winning golf courses. The Ultimate Kauai Guide Book rates Sealodge a Solid Gold Value and our private beach “a real gem”. You can sit by the pool, golf, stroll along miles of foot paths, or try to spot celebrities staying at the nearby St. Regis Hotel.

Mike and I understand the immense time and effort you are putting into planning a perfect vacation. Our overall intention in choosing, remodeling and furnishing the condo is that you enjoy it and feel as comfortable here as you do in your own home. We are active owners who visit & make improvements often. We want you to love our place as much as we do, and to that end, we’ve tried to anticipate your needs. We suppose the best reason we can give to recommend our place is that our guests also choose to come back; and for that, we are extremely grateful!

About Sarah

Mike and I took our first trip to Hawaii in 2005 to celebrate Mikes father’s birthday. While surfing in 80 degree water I asked a couple of locals how they came to live in such a magical place. They told us to “buy now” – 6 years later we could finally heed their advice. We gave our realtor only 2 directives, one of which was it had to have unbeatable views. She showed us 7 units -- 4 of them at Sealodge. We picked the one with the best view -- the view that others staying at sealodge come around to look at. It needed work (and all new furniture), but when it was done, after spending the day watching whales, tow in surfing and the most beautiful sunset, Mike said, best decision we’ve ever made. Until we can move to the condo permanently (give or take 20 years) we are grateful and happy to share our little dream with you. Mahalo.

Perfect view and location for relaxing

Ocean and sunrise view is stunning! Rolled out of bed to sit on the patio and watch the sunrise with coffee and hen with chicks showed up to join us!

Everything as described with good kitchen and useful guidebooks. Host was amenable and responsive to questions. Only thing I would improve is the comfort of the bed foam mattress.

Comfortable condo with an amazing view!

My husband and I stayed at Sealodge C3 for six nights. The condo was very clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed. The views of the ocean were amazing and it was very relaxing to fall asleep to sound of the waves every night. We did not cook but the kitchen seemed well equipped. There were plenty of linens, extra towels and beach towels, and even some snorkeling equipment and beach chairs. It was convenient to have the washer and dryer after a day at the beach. Sarah provided a lot of information before our trip including some great restaurant recommendations. The condo is in a huge residential neighborhood but thankfully not right on the golf course and feels secluded due to the location at the back of the complex. The small Princeville restaurant and shopping area were about 1 1/2 miles away. We did not walk there but you could take a long walk and do so, and maybe find a shortcut through the golf course. The town of Hanalei is only a couple more miles away and is very cute with great restaurants, shops, and beaches. The Lihue airport is only 45 minutes away; south and west shore areas are much further but still doable in an easy day trip. I recommend this condo for a relaxing base camp for exploring the island of Kauai. We really enjoyed the North Shore and hope to come back.

Great location

This is a very well maintained apartment condo located right in front of the ocean. It was an extremely efficient apartment to stay in. It was a treat to open the patio door and walk in the grass above the ocean cliff.

The real pleasure and surprise was to make the hike down the cliff to a secluded beach with shallow snorkeling waters. This was a short walk from the patio door. We made this hike with a small child so it is a comfortable hike as long as it hasn't rained making the trail slippery.
