My three friends and I stayed in Rita's beautiful casita for 5 days in August, and it was an absolutely perfect stay--her home was lovely and had everything we needed, and Rita was so helpful and thought of everything to make us feel at home. The location is just a couple of blocks to the railyard, which was fantastic, and a little less than 20 minutes walking to the plaza. We felt completely at home and didn't want to leave! We're already planning our trip for next year.
Stayed here when I came to Santa Fe for the Opera, in July 2012. Really nice house, comfortable, quiet, a good location. House is very nicely decorated and equipped. Rita couldn't have been any nicer and provided more than we expected.
My husband and I and two friends stayed in this lovely home for four nights. Staying in Santa Fe is always fun, but this home is decorated in beautiful Santa Fe style and yet very comfortable. We felt as though we were home, yet somewhere exotic. We drove out to the edge of town one day to go on a hike, but other than that we 'walked everywhere'. The owner had wonderful coffee for us, jams, teas, butter. She was available to us, should we have needed that. Laundry facility in the house came in handy. A lovely kitchen was available for our use and we did have breakfast there some of the time. We could have cooked a full course meal, but, of course, we were in Santa Fe- so we ate out often. I recommend the Flying Star Diner, which is just down the road, on the edge of the RailYard, for breakfast or lunch or whatever.. very handy and wonderful everything. We look forward to our next stay here at the house on Manhattan! We definitely recommend. Carole and Dan Blake Golden, CO
