What makes this Apartment unique
It will take you back near 300 years! Walking distance from the Lavaca Guest House is San Antonio’s B Cycle stand. Rent a bicycle and take a ride along the mission trail. The mission trail is a walking/cycling trail along the scenic San Antonio River. It will take you back to the year 1718 when you visit the Queen of the Missions, San Jose; the Alamo, San Antonio de Padua; and the other 3 monumental missions— Concepcion, San Francisco de la Espada and San Juan Capistrano missions. Park your car and save on fuel. Alternate transportation is readily accessible—walk, bicycle, trolley or Primo. Primo is S.A. mass transportation system. One or the other transportation can take you downtown, the Riverwalk, King William Historic District, Sea World, Fiesta Texas, the Henry B. Gonzalez convention center, the Alamo and to the other 4 Spanish missions. The first San Antonio mission was built in 1718 by Franciscan friars and Coahuiltecan natives. Experience a romantic evening walking to the King William Historic District or dining along the Riverwalk. There will be so much to do and so little time to do it all. The key will be to plan ahead.

San Antonio guest house - central location
While the location was great and the guest house was well-appointed, there was a bit of an issue with bugs that detracted from our enjoyment.
We enjoyed our short stay! The apartment is well equipped, spacious, and in a great location.
Lavaca is a perfect location for exploring all that San Antonio has to offer. We enjoyed walking to restaurants as well as morning walks along the Riverwalk. The owner lives nearby and was very responsive to our needs.
It was within walking distance of the Riverwalk, Alamo, Alamodome, etc. We didn’t have sheets on the bed when we arrived but upon notifying the owner, they had it remedied quickly. The place was clean and had more amenities than we needed. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.
Great house and location!
This place is handy to so many great areas of San Antonio, it's crazy. Restaurants, bars, shopping, Alamodome, Riverwalk, you name it!
Close to river walk!
Convenient, simple but comfortable.
Convenient to convention center, comfortable and clean. Kitchen with enough equipment for our needs (basic cookware, coffee maker, toaster, etc). Bathroom clean. My only complaint is that there was no soap at all in the bathroom so I needed to go out again at night.
