This 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation home suitable for year-round living has 8 twin beds, 1 queen size bed, and 1 youth bed (sleeps 10 plus 1 child). The house sits on a grassy level lot just 100 feet back from the white stone beach which faces Green Bay on Washington Island. The sunsets are amazing! The beach is suitable for swimming, it is shallow quite a way out.
The main level has two bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each room, 1 bathroom with a shower and laundry facilities, a great-room, kitchen, half-bath, and a deck that spans the full lake-side width of the house. The large eat-in, fully equipped kitchen has a view of the water and a sliding glass door leading out to the deck. The large great-room with a game table corner has a wall of windows facing the lake, and a wood burning stove. The front entry has an open ceiling with stairway to the upper level.
The upper level has a master bedroom with a balcony facing the lake and 2 twin beds. It shares a full bath with the 4th dorm-style bedroom which has 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a youth bed.
There are board games and card games for fun nights around the table. It's a great place for a nighttime outside game of flashlight tag or hide'n'seek. On clear nights the stars are spectacular. Enjoy a campfire on the beach, weather permitting.
Television reception is very spotty and limited. We suggest you use the DVD and VCR.
The location of the house is ideal. It is 1.5 miles to the main store, library, rec center, and various restaurants. The grassy yard around the house is well-suited for play activities. Washington Island is a wonderful place for bike rides, and you can keep your bikes in the garage.
Summer rentals (July through Labor Day) are weekly, Saturday to Saturday. September, October rentals can be nightly, 2 night minimum.

WE stayed here with our entire family. There was a total of 7 adults and 2 children. It was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone. 2 1/2 baths was definitely a bonus! Well stocked kitchen with everything you need to make big meals. Excellent swim beach. People that own the home are great. Huge deck to enjoy meals and morning coffee.

We absolutely loved staying at this vacation property on Washington Island. It feels like some friends let us stay at their house for the week. We spent many hours chatting while sitting on the deck and we loved taking our morning coffee down to the waterfront. This is a tranquil place with the feel of "home".
House was fantastic!!! Tons of space, the property was as advertised and we had plenty of space to park boat/trailer. We will be back with entire family next year. Weather was tough (wind) and it was nice to have a great home to come back to get out of the elements.
