PELICAN POINT is a beautiful new vacation house minutes from the ocean, on the corner of Beach St and the famous Beach Loop Drive. It has been described as aesthetically beautiful, comfortable, one of the nicest vacation rentals, clean, a step above the rest and our guests are amazed at the low price for what they get.
On entering the beach house, you will see large windows throughout the house with high ceilings creating a very spacious area. The two couches, 1 love seat and large recliner ensures ample seating that will more than accommodate up to 8 people. The stone fireplace and tasteful, quality furnishings will make your stay a memorable one. Our guests have often commented on the quality and comfort. From the tempur-pedic California King size bed, hide-a-bed to the Kuebler dining set just to name a few.
The living room/ media center has a large screen TV where you can watch unlimited streamed movies or you can watch your own streamed movies from the master bedroom.
The modern, gourmet kitchen with island kitchen and wet bar has sumptuous granite counters. Many conveniences are already in the kitchen, 26 cu ft sxs refrigerator, built in microwave, Jenn-Air wall oven, stainless steel DW and a stainless steel and black 36 inch cook top. Lots of storage in this kitchen. Complete cook ware, small appliances and lot of dishes to satisfy the chef in the house whether it is to cook a gourmet meal or prepare something on the go. Soaps, linens are supplied as well.
A half bathroom is just down the hall from the kitchen as well as the laundry area and access to the double garage. In the garage is a gas BBQ for your convenience.
No need to worry about keys, the house has key less entry where you have your personal access code for the duration of your stay.
For those who wish house keeping services during their stay, this is available for a small fee.

About the owner: Karsten and I have been married for over 40 years, we traveled the first ten years of our married life and have toured Europe, Canada, Mexico, China and the 48 continental United States. We love traveling, photography, ballroom dancing, kayaking, fishing, learning languages, etc etc etc...we are always interested in broadening our horizon and we love life. We have a very spoiled Amazon parrot, she has been a great companion for the last ten years. After many years of travel, we decided that the west coast was our preference and we particularly are fond of the Pacific Northwest. When we first became acquainted with the Coos County area, it was back in 1974, we loved it back then. Our work eventually took us to the central coast of California where we operated a photographic studio for over 20 years. We retired from the photography business five years ago. When we retired, we wanted to find a place as nice as the San Luis Obispo area. We think we found it in the Bandon area. Pelican Point opened for business summer of 2012, this aesthetically beautiful, new house about three minutes from the ocean, People that stay in the house comment how clean and nice it is in comparison to many other places they have stayed at. We offer good quality at a reasonable price. We want your stay in Bandon to be a memorable one and we do our best to make ensure that, from very comfortable beds for a great night’s sleep, good quality linens, lots of pillows, towels and blankets, quality appliances and quality furniture to make you truly feel at home. We even have soap dispensers in the showers and a nice laundry facility to make your stay more comfortable. Why the Owner Chose Bandon, OR, USA:
Bandon is sister city to St Andrews, the only difference is that Bandon is more difficult to get to. We discovered the area in 1974 when we were newly weds, we loved the area then and when we retired we decided that we wanted to return to the area. We live in Bandon and with so many people visiting Bandon we wanted to branch out into vacation rentals. This is our first year in business. We will be constantly improving the already new house.

I love the proximity to the ocean, it is only a three minute walk away. It is close to Devil's Kitchen beach and state park, the great rock formations and endless miles of sandy beaches. I thoroughly enjoy our beaches because they are not crowded. Pelican Point is close to horseback riding, golf courses, a lot of things that visitors want to see.
