This was my home for three years and now I have decided to share it with you. Every detail of decor and pretty much every stroke of paint was done by me, my friends and family - including my grandmother with 84 years old.
I might be biased but I think you'll enjoy 21m2 of pure charm, with a perfect combination of local character and modern appliances.
Cheir'a Lisboa apartment is located in a 2 floor building in the eastern edge of Bairro Alto, and it's just a stone throw away from the beautiful viewpoint of São Pedro de Alcântara and the iconic Glória funicular.
The location is very central and so you can visit many interesting places by foot, and if you want to go further just rent a scooter and park in front of the apartment! It's what I do and is very practical and cheap!
Because Bairro Alto is the most popular nightlife spot of the city you are within walking distance of many bars and restaurants, from the cheaper fast food places, to the locals favourites and even the fancier and expensive ones.
From my house you can easily walk to visit a large number of points of interest in Lisbon like picturesque neighborhoods like Madragoa, Graça,Alfama, Mouraria, Chiado, Baixa, Alfama, others) but any necessary public transport is around the corner.
f you come from Airport you have 2 options:
- By taxi
- By Subway/tube station– Red line to Alameda + Green line to Baixa-Chiado (40 min)
Consider taking a LISBOACARD (run a search for LISBOACARD on your favorite search engine) for stays longer than 1 day. Card covers entrance fee to most attraction and public transports.
