About The Owner

After traveling to the Cape for over 25 years we decided to settle in the Buzzards Bay area

Why The Owner chose Buzzards Bay

Our favorite destination area has always been on or near the Cape Cod Canal. The location is easy to get to and offers beaches, shopping, biking, festivals, restaurants and New England charm.

What makes this house unique

The house is located on a very quiet side street, great for relaxing while still being only minutes away from all the activities.

The house was very nice and inviting. Very clean, great neighborhood, great neighbors. Very close to a beach and stores, great restaurants in the area as well. Wonderful experience, will mist likely come back next year.

Perfect location! Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We took our 2 pre-teens and it was just perfect! The location of the house gave us local options to swim or canoe in the pond or to play at the nearby park. It is also located walking distance from convenience stores, cafes and pharmacies. The location is also perfect to day trips, allowing either to travel to the Cape, or to explore other beaches on the south side. The house itself was amazing, very clean, private back yard, nice neighbors and of course the owners are very nice and welcoming. I already miss it!

Cute 2 bedroom ranch. Very well stocked with necessities that you would normally have to spend too much money for a small usage; such as, napkins, paper plates, tin foil, plastic wrap, laundry detergent, paper cups. Our grandchildren visited us for a day and really enjoyed the fresh water beach only a few streets away. It was located near everything and only a short drive to get over the bridge to the other areas of the cape. Definitely would stay there again.

Great home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

We were very happy with the home and the location. It's a great jumping off point to the cape, Boston, New Bedford, Plymouth. The house is very neat and tidy, and has all the amenities we needed. Everything was very comfortable and functional.

Everything needed for a family getaway

  • 5 of 5

Well-maintained home, responsive owner, in a neighborhood location.

Our family, with 3 kids, enjoyed the property. The access to the swimming pond (with beach area) and canoe was great. It was a fine home base for exploration to the West and Central parts of the Cape.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We have nothing but good things to say about our stay. This place was everything it claims to be. It was very clean, well stocked, and was ready for us the minute we arrived. After spending our days out site seeing we enjoyed our evenings relaxing in the backyard in a very quiet neighborhood. If we ever decide to go back to Cape Cod this will be the first place I look to as far as booking a place to stay.
