About Teresa Safay

I have dreamed of providing a 'retreat' space to visitors for quite some time and recently had an opportunity to fullfill this dream. I look forward to offering a stay that is both peaceful and rejuvenating.

Teresa Safay purchased this house in 1982

Why Teresa Safay chose Historic Railroad District

I chose Ashland many years ago because this city offers a cosmopolitan feel of a large city and peacefulness of a small town.

What makes this house unique

237 B Street is located in Ashland's favorite historical neighborhood. It is a five minute stroll to Shakespeare, Ashland's many restaurants, shopping and the famous Lithia Park. You will not need to use your car once you have arrived.

Would love to stay here again. Quiet. Only issue is the parking is in a dark alley.

Very nice house with historic feeling

  • 5 of 5

This house is perfect for 2 couples! Very private, nice location, close to the theaters. COOP is one block away. Nice semi-enclosed patio with table and chairs where you can enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, comfortable, well cared-for home

  • 5 of 5

Upon arriving in Ashland, we had difficulty entering the property as we never received the entrance code. It took about two hours to sort this out, but the homeowner was very apologetic. Once we gained access to the house, we were struck by the great care that the owner has taken in restoring and maintaining this property. Everything from

That point forward was to our liking. I noticed a review below stating the beds were no good, I have no idea what they are talking about, the beds and linens were obviously of high quality. Suffice to say, we slept very well in our beds (2 adults, 2 kids). The property additionally is well-situated within easy walking distance of downtown and just around the corner from the terrific food co-op. Additionally, my wife and I noticed that the neighborhood was wonderfully quiet. I will definitely stay in this house again.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much! I still feel bad that you did not have entry information before your arrival. In order to have direct contact, I prefer my guest call or text in advance of their stay so they can receive entry info, as well as know how to reach me for assistance. Cheers, Teresa
