About Teresa Safay

As a long time Ashland resident, it is my pleasure to provide a relaxing and convenient home away from home. Please feel free to call with any questions during your visit. I look forward to offering a stay that is both peaceful and rejuvenating.

Why Teresa Safay chose Ashland

I chose Ashland many years ago because this city offers a cosmopolitan feel of a large city and peacefulness of a small town.

What makes this house unique

237 B Street is located in Ashland's favorite historical neighborhood. It is a five minute stroll to Shakespeare, Ashland's many restaurants, shopping and the famous Lithia Park. You will not need to use your car once you have arrived.

Near theatre, hansone and comfy

  • 5 of 5

This is a generous 1 bedroom apartment in a beautifully kept historic home. There is also a 2 bedroom available. Wonderful bed, lovely furnishings. Teresa is charming and responds very quickly should you have any questions. 2 blocks from the theatre and 1 block from the Coop grocery, including a bakery and all sorts of good things to eat. I will be back!

So perfect

  • 5 of 5

I can't rave about this place enough. The location is golden. We walked almost everywhere and the coop next door is so wonderful (not easy on the budget but wonderful for the belly ;) ). We decided to stay an extra night we were so happy with this place. If I were to be nit picky, my complaints would be a squeaky floor in the bedroom and no dark curtains for light in the bedroom and the alcove with the sleeper sofa. That said, this didn't taint anything for us. The kitchen was wonderful. We cooked almost all of our breakfasts and dinners there without complaint. We want to come back! Miss it already.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback! I have alerted the cleaners to make sure that there are always sponges and more kitchen towels available. Must have been an oversite. I would have gladly replenished for you had you asked. Cheers!

Great Place to Stay in the Heart of Ashland

  • 5 of 5

Great place in a fantastic location. My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our visit. Nice porch/backyard to enjoy the morning/breakfast time. We parked the car and we were able to walk everywhere for the weekend. One block away from the Food Co-Op and very easy walking distance to the plays and Lithia Park. Teresa was very responsive to a couple of my pre-arrival emails. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home Base for Attending Shows at OSF!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I really enjoyed the one bedroom unit! We were so comfortable there, the bed was very cozy and perfect for my low back issues; and the updated bathroom was lighted well (can't tell from the picture), and the showerhead was great! Even though this is not considered a "full kitchen", we were able to cook many meals during our week there, the owner has thought of everything you could possibly need, besides a stove, to prepare meals. With the Co-Op right across the street, and a Safeway about a mile away, we were able to stock up with groceries easily! Thank you for an excellent "home away from home", Teresa. We will check with you first, the next time we travel to Ashland!
