Zach, Jenn & Trevor Prock have lived in Southwesten Colorado all of our lives and love the beauty it has to offer all year round. We have a wildgame outfitting business and we use this lodge to house our hunters in the fall. We'd like to share it with others during our off season.
Jennifer purchased this Lodge in 2010

Scenic, wonderful place for our group..
We had a large group. Trucks with trailers and Jeeps. The ranch was a perfect fit with a full kitchen, nice accommodations, bedrooms and living areas were as advertised. Jennifer was a great host and her son was an awesome helper!!! Thanks for opening your place to us. Montrose area was beautiful.
Fun and unique property!
The house was as described and perfect for our large group. It's convenient to Black Canyon and Montrose, but feels like you're in a far-away retreat! Jennifer was helpful, hospitable, and easy to communicate with. It's a very unique property. We would definitely stay here again.
Amazing view and room for everyone!
The house is a little hard to find but, with Jennifer's help, we made it and couldn't be more pleased! There's a ton of room for everyone to gather by also have their own space if needed. I loved that there was an extra fridge for big items. The views off the balcony were amazing. It's great to start the day off by looking out and enjoying coffee. It was also great to sit out there at night to watch the stars, chat or just enjoy the quiet peaceful area. The kitchen had everything we needed. It's great to be able to make breakfast and lunches for such a big crowd and not have to eat out; which would've been the case if we had a hotel. We did go out for dinner at The Camp Robber off 550 and Ogden. It was close and they have amazing food!!
In the Midst of the Country
My entire family--from grandparents to grandchildren -- enjoyed our time at the Elk Ranch. Highlights included having two separate living areas and bedroom areas, large, large living areas with plenty of seating, and the sights off our deck (which included two bear one morning). There were 16 of us--and we made use of 15 beds! All in all, an enjoyable time and enjoyed the beautiful countryside when we ventured into Montrose for our wedding activities.
FANTASTIC LODGE FOR FAMILY GATHERING
Twenty-two of us (at the height) shared this beautiful lodge and couldn’t have been happier. The layout is perfect for a large group. The ages of our family ranged from 4 to 70 and EVERYONE had a bed; everyone had space to play-eat-talk-relax and fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings (both inside the lodge and out). We had more than enough space and the hosts provide plenty of supplies such as bedding, towels, kitchen items (pots;pans;dishes;utensils)…they have it all! And all we had to do was ‘ask’ if there was a need or a special request. Our hosts were A-#1 and made us feel welcome, comfortable, and special. The family was very happy to have found this perfect place.
Charming Ranch Lodge
We had a wonderful stay at Zach and Jenn's lodge. Despite being the coldest weekend of the year, we found the lodge to be cozy and well-equipped. Telluride is just 90 minutes from the lodge so we skied one day, hiked in the nearby Black Canyon and we also enjoyed a night out for dinner in Montrose. Beautiful snowy vistas from the balcony made this the perfect city escape!
