This spacious five-bedroom Rockaway Beach vacation home is just steps from the sand, and perfect for a multi-family vacation! There are separate living areas and full kitchens on two floors, with space for up to twelve guests to enjoy the beautiful ocean views and direct beach access.

With five bedrooms and two and a half baths, this special home has plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a bit of extra elbow room, or gather together and socialize. Up to 10 can sleep comfortably, but up to 12 travelers are welcome. There is one bedroom with a king bed, three with queens, and one with a double bed. There's even a washer/dryer available to keep up with wet bathing suits or fishing gear throughout your stay.

Each floor has its own full kitchen and dining area, plus comfortable living areas for settling down for a movie marathon on drizzly afternoons or curling up with a good book. When the sun shines, you'll find plenty of space to stretch out on the two oceanfront decks, or perhaps fire up the gas grill for a barbecue. Two dogs are welcome with an additional nightly fee.

Although with the beach beckoning just steps from the deck and beautiful Crescent Lake waiting to the east, you may not stay put for long. The location is ideal for whiling away lazy days on the beach, or adventure-filled afternoons spent boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, or crabbing.

No matter how you spend your days, you'll love ending each evening roasting marshmallows in your private outdoor fire pit under the stars, or sipping a glass of wine on the oceanfront deck as the sun sets over the Pacific. This peaceful Rockaway Beach retreat is waiting for you!

Awesome location but needs updating

  • 3 of 5

We had 2 families staying here- a family of 7 (4 adults, 1 teen and 2 littles and a family of 3 (3 adults). All slept comfortably on beds except for the 2 littles, who were on the floor. We should've brought a blow up mattress! It was fine though. We never used the downstairs kitchen as we always ate together upstairs.

PROS: VIEW, Beach access, privacy on beach, clean beach with TONS of sand to play on, grill, space, quiet, awesome picnic table, decks, lower levels were sheltered from the wind. Plenty of fresh and clean smelling linens. Washer and dryer. Firewood was provided for fire pit. Oh, and being able to hear the sound of the waves all day and night is priceless! Rockaway Beach is a fun little town and we loved how close we were to several hikes as well as other surrounding beach towns like Tillamook, Cannon Beach and Seaside.

CONS: This home is in need of some updating and deep cleaning. On the surface, it looks ok, but the carpets and couches were covered in long white pet hair. The floor boards were dirty. The downstairs bathroom shower needs reconfiguring. It seemed like the bathroom was always wet after a shower. The home and rooms have a musty smell. 1/2 of the upstairs stove top didn't work...but we didn't figure that out until it was too late. Also, the satellite dish location was weird (on the deck obstructing the beautiful view) and wifi didn't work in the master bathroom.

Overall, the home provides a good and comfortable place to stay and enjoy your family and the amazing beach. If anything, stay here for the amazing beach view and access! Thank you!

Great set-up for multiple families and a great view!

  • 5 of 5

The set-up is perfect for a couple families... two stories and two kitchens. On a great beach front and the view makes rainy days pleasant.

Beautiful location

  • 3 of 5

We just spent four nights here. The location is amazing, literally steps from the beach, just over the dune. We had the beach mostly to ourselves most of the time. The house itself is in need of some maintenance. The layout was great for our group, which was two families with small children. However for a larger group that wants to be together all the time and eat meals all together, the layout of this house would make that challenging. The dishwasher didn't work and was unable to be repaired while we were there, only one burner on each stove worked, which made cooking a challenge. We had to cook meals both upstairs and downstairs which was annoying. The door to the stairs between the floors is broken so we had to put a baby gate blocked with a chair to keep the baby from the stairs. All small things but inconvenient. The management was easy to work with and responded to concerns very timely. She graciously extended a small discount for the inconvenience of the dishwasher not functioning which was appreciated. All in all, we enjoyed our stay just the house could use some maintenance that would go a long way.

Waterfront Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

This home was perfect for our family reunion! Living/sleeping areas on two floors meant that we could have privacy but get together when we wanted to. The location on the beach front was wonderful as we had young children and someone was always available to take them to the beach to play. We could watch them from the spacious deck.

Everything was available that we needed and more. It was clean with lots of towels and other necessities. We enjoyed the Rockaway commercial area because it was just a few blocks long so it was not crowded with hundreds of people as were some of the beach towns that we observed. We had a bonfire at the fire pit which was fun. There were plenty of places to buy wood at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed the free tour at the Tillamook Cheese factory. Very interesting. The shops in the small town were very nice.

It was a terrific vacation property, and we hope to stay there again!!

Great place for a family reunion!

  • 5 of 5

It is hard to find a place on the beach with five bedrooms and no bunk beds! We had a sibling reunion with five adult couples and it worked out great. There is one bedroom with a full size bed and we had to get creative on how we choose who got which room. The location and beach view and access did not disappoint. We utilized the fire pit in the evenings and spent a lot of time on the wonderful deck. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this location and use it again!
