My Favorite Place to Stay!!!!
This cabin is the perfect getaway! My favorite is being able to hear the babling creek from the porch. I can't think of a better place to be!
Relaxing family vacation
We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Black Hills. The house was perfect for our needs and had every possible convenience. Our kids loved playing in the creek and on the gorgeous property. We all enjoyed mornings and evenings on the beautiful deck! There were plenty of adventure opportunities nearby like horseback riding, ATVing, and swimming at the lakes.
Could not of asked for more!
5 of us went out to do some ATV riding, this place was very clean and comfortable. The deck was simply amazing when you get back to enjoy an adult beverage. You can get to the trail system from the cabin, we rode 130 miles in two days. It reached 100 degrees one day and even though the cabin didn't have air conditioning it was still very comfortable, Larry the owner told us to close the window and shades in the morning and it would stay cool, and he was absolutely correct. I wI'll stay here again, next year if it's available when we plan our trip.
What a great place
Where do I start?? First, I was somewhat apprehensive about booking a vrbo home - you never know what you will get- but we couldn't be happier!! The pics don't do it justice - this place is beautiful and felt just like home : very clean and well stocked with necessary amenities! I'm not sure what you could need that isn't already here to make you comfortable. We brought our atv's and food, and just had the greatest family vacation! You can ride your atv on the dirt road the house is located on, directly up to some great trailheads, and then the adventure is yours! We rode for hours and hours! It was nice to come back home after the day and relax on the big porch and watch the kids run around - and there is definitely room for them to run! We had campfires and family dinners - evening rides and cuddled watching movies. We sit here packing up to leave and are somewhat sad - but also pulling out our calendars and are ready to rebook again next year! The owner Larry is a great guy, and we stopped by his store to chat a few times. I wouldn't hesitate booking this place, it's worth every penny and a little fresh air and family would do the soul some good :) bring your atv and dirt bikes and you will be in for some great rides - ranging from easy jeep roads to more technical rock climbs. Something for everyone! Thanks again Larry, we will be seeing you next year :)
Fabulous place to stay - the pictures don't do it justice
We came with our ATV and had a wonderful time. Plenty of room to park our trailer. No need to trailer your ATV to start your ride - just go out the door and hop on! We especially liked eating outside while listening to the creek. The owners are very friendly. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to ride - or just wants a quiet place to get away from it all.
We Aren't In Wisconsin Anymore!
WOW! BREATHTAKING! UNBELIEVABLE! How do you describe something like this? The drive to the Bear's Den was a filled with nature we had never before witnessed while driving. Once we arrived we could not have asked for anything more. The cabin is set just off a beautiful, little creek and at night that creek lulled us to sleep. Coming from the city we found it to be so peaceful and serene. The accommodations were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owners were a pleasure to work with. Our teenage girls were apprehensive upon arrival - a little more nature than they expected - but the owner had them set up with WiFi so all was well in their world! It didn't take them long to begin enjoying all South Dakota had to offer. Awesome family location.
