This recently remodeled one bedroom garden apartment with high-end finishes, hardwood floors, and sleek gas fireplace is located in a classic mid-century modern building. The apartment has a private entrance off of a safe, well-lit, garden space that also features a shared deck and gas grill. The building is located on a quiet residential street on North Capitol Hill only two blocks south of the Olmstead-designed Volunteer Park with its beautiful green-space, art museum, and conservatory. It shares this desirable neighborhood with million dollar mansions yet is conveniently located just blocks from restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, and grocery stores on Broadway and 15th Avenue. Our Walkscore is 91% which means that the very best of Seattle is at your doorstep. The new Link Light Rail is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Within a few blocks you can easily access frequent and convenient bus service to Downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market, Seattle Center, Space Needle, Pike-Pine Urban Corridor, International District, Seattle University, University of Washington, First Hill hospitals, and other tourist and visitor destinations. Uber, Lyft, Reach Now, and Car to go are easily accessible in this neighborhood and give you many transportation choices.
THIS GARDEN APARTMENT is easily accessible on the ground-level and features a peaceful outlook into the neighboring courtyard gardens. The apartment is 600 square feet with one bedroom, one bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. The apartment has a sleek, modern, gas fireplace that serves as the focal point for the open-concept living and dining rooms- it provides both heat and ambiance. The living room features modern, comfortable furnishings such as a Queen Sofa Sleeper, a 55” HDTV, DVD player and free WIFI. The remodeled kitchen offers quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances (fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher) and is well-stocked with cookery, dishes, spices, coffee & tea. A washer and dryer and laundry supplies are conveniently located in the apartment. The bedroom has a king-size bed with a high-quality memory foam mattress, 400 thread count sheets, down comforter, spacious closet and full-length mirror. The updated bathroom has a full size tub and shower, plenty of plush towels, shampoo, hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board.
Reserved off-street parking is available upon request for an additional charge of $9/night. Many of our guests elect to visit without a car but if you plan to have one we recommend that you reserve the parking space because the street parking is restricted.
This apartment can accommodate 4 people. We have two other apartments in the same building of similar size, quality, and furnishings so let us know if you have a larger group and we might be able to accommodate you in 2 or 3 apartments.

About Mark Hanses
Stephen and Mark have been friends for almost 20 years and business partners since 2009 when they bought this mid-century modern building, remodeled it, and made it available for business and vacation travelers. They picked this neighborhood because each lives nearby and they find Capitol Hill to be one of the most interesting, vibrant, and well-located neighborhoods in Seattle. They think that you will enjoy the quiet, comfortable, modern apartments and their proximity to the fun attractions nearby on the Hill, downtown, and the Pike/Pine corridor. Together they manage the apartments and will do whatever they can to help provide you with a comfortable and memorable stay in Seattle.

Very comfortable and the perfect location!
Perfect Capitol Hill Apartment
This apartment rental experience was one of my favorites and we have rented apartments from Paris to NYC to San Diego and more. Perfect location tucked away in the character filled neighborhood of Capitol Hill. Anything you could possibly need is in this apartment and the W&D came in quite handy. The actual apartment looks just like the pictures, decorated so cute and fresh and brightly it was such a fun vibe. The bed, including the pull out couch, were very comfortable the the linens were divine. The location was perfect for us as we left the apartment each morning and walked to an amazing breakfast spot within CH, so many to choose from. We highly suggest The Wandering Goose, the biscuits were Heavenly. Stephen and Mark were very friendly and accommodating and I felt completely comfortable contacting them for any questions or needs. It’s easy to tell they take great pride in their rental. This apartment was just the perfect addition to our girl’s trip for myself, my 18 year old daughter celebrating the completion of her first semester of college and my best friend celebrating a full recovery from breast cancer. Thank you so much Stephen and Mark for helping to make this trip so special!
Excellent location and very clean and safe
A tree lined street with everything relatively Close
The apartment was clean and spacious enough for our family (2 adults, 2 toddlers). It was great to have a tub for bathing the kids. We didn't spend too much time eating in because we were out exploring the city. Being at the top of the hill was perfect for accessing 15th Street shops and restaurants. Going anywhere down the hill was tough with the double stroller. We planned to do a lot of walking on this trip but did not anticipate the challenge of the hill.
This apartment is set in a PERFECT location. Close to so many bars/restaurants/transit options. We were able to walk to wherever we needed or hop on a bus that took us to wherever! Apartment had everything you would need and the washer/dryer feature was fantastic. We did not use the kitchen due to being out, but it looked like it had everything you would need.
Cozy, comfortable, nicely decorated, well-equipped and well-located. A few blocks from good restaurants and shops, and a supermarket, but in a quiet residential neighborhood on North Capitol Hill, which is very desirable. For those with some mobility impairment, such as me, it is ground level, and the off-street parking (which is necessary on Cap Hill) is only ten feet from the front door. The bed is very comfortable, and there were lots of towels and sheets available. Easy ride downtown, five to ten minutes from I-5. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and my visits with my grandchildren, who live five minutes from this condo. I would definitely stay again.
The apartment is conveniently located close to downtown, University of Washington, Seattle University, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, and the Hospitals on First Hill. It is within easy walking distance of local restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and grocery stores. The frequent and convenient bus service, together with taxis and Uber makes it easy for our guests to see Seattle without a car.
