Valley of the Moon/Sonoma Valley 10 minute, countless wineries

Russian River Resort area and amazing canoeing & swimming 20 minutes
Muir Woods 1 hours + 10 minutes
Armstrong Redwoods 39 minutes
Napa Valley only 30 minutes of spectacular driving to get there
Bodega Bay & Doran Park 48 minutes
Jenner & Goat Rock 60 minutes
Annadel State Park & amazing hiking, amazing mountain biking, fishing & swimming, Spring Lake Regional Park with gentle hike/walks around an inspirational lake that has canoeing & Howarth Park an outstanding park that caters to younger children that has a train, amazing childrens play area & another lake. All 3 parks touch each other and easily access each other.
Doran Park & Sonoma Coast State Park at Salmon Creek are another unique and wonderful aspect of the magnificent Sonoma Coast. The Sonoma Coast is powerful & threatening most of the time & Doran Park provides a reasonably safe beach area for younger children with Caribbean types of waves as it is protected by Bodega Bay from the powerful surf that comes in from the Pacific Ocean. Sonoma Coast State Park at Salmon Creek has a unique beach that has wonderful sand dunes for the adventurous to explore all day long.
All this is why this home is unique for a trip to wine country.
Do not underestimate the wonderful winter weather at the Sonoma Coast. This is one of those 'local' secrets that the fall, winter & spring weather at the coast is actually quite nice & more appealing than the summer weather.
If you do not want to drive anywhere, literally across the street is Upper Brush Creek Regional Park. This is a stone throw from this home and it provides 5 acres of undeveloped park with oaks & personal solitude for a invigorating walk in the morning.
There is a dog (border collie) on the property. IF you have anyone in your party that is extremely allergic to dogs my property is not what you need. The dog spends an occasional night in the home.

Why Owner chose Scenic Brush Creek
I always dreamed of living in Northern California because of the its incredible beauty & amazing weather.
What makes this House unique
I enjoy gardening and have a wonderful & unique greenhouse, along with raised beds that I enjoy growing my own beets, turnips, cilantro, basil etc... I love volley ball and the yard is 3500 sq. ft. so we keep a volleyball net up all the time that can be quickly removed. On Saturday mornings @ 11 am there is an Ultimate Frisbee club that meets 2 minutes away @ the north end of Montecito Park.

The perfect wine country rental!
Rented this home out for my wedding weekend and my bridal party absolutely loved it! The house is super spacious and had everything a big group would ever need! The amenities are a total plus! The ping pong table and pool table and hot tub were total hits with everyone! The wifi was solid as well.
Ken, the owner, was very detailed and thorough before arrival date. He was out of town the weekend we stayed but still available to answer my questions via text and email. JR the house caretaker was sweet and welcoming. Answered all my questions and showed a genuine concern for our comfort at the house.
When we arrived on the first day the hot tub was not cleaned but Ken made sure that it was cleaned and working before the rest of the guests arrived! Therefore, I have no complaints!
Loved the location and everything this home has to offer!
Only complaint, shower was broken and the kitchen was not really well equipped.
We were in town for a figure skating competition at Snoopy's Home Ice Rink. The house was a short 10 minute drive away from the competition. Ken's home comfortably accommodated the six of us. The hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table were great for our downtime when our daughter was not competing. Access to a kitchen and laundry room was great! We would definitely recommend Ken's home to others! Thank you Ken!
Thanks for your kind words! You were outstanding guests. Thanks for caring for my home.
We really enjoyed our stay at Ken's place. Communication was really easy. House was clean, comfortable and close to everything we needed.
Thanks for your kind words and for using & caring for my home.
Great house with plenty of room
We came to CA to attend a wedding for my niece. Three families stayed here and had plenty of room. Ken is the most accommodating host I have ever met! The house was clean and had all of the things we needed at our fingertips. Thanks again Ken!
Thank you for your kind words. I could not do it without JR and Rebecca and Gabe and Dyna! I am grateful you used my home. Thank you for taking care of it while you were there.
Wine Tasting Week
Rented the house for a week wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma. Great starting point for any place you want to go. Grocery store close by. The kitchen was supplied with the necessities to grill and cook.
We thought the house was as advertised. If you are tall, the Murphy Bed might not be ideal, but it works. Not big on amenities - bring you own soap, shampoo and hair dryer. Functional for three couples.
Pool table a plus!! We had a fun time staying at the house.
First time utilizing VRBO and Ken made it so easy!! He replies back promptly and provides detail information JR is a nice resource while staying at the house.
Thanks for your kind words. Ken!
