8 of us had an awesome weekend
Deer, moose, bald eagle. House is stocked with everything you need. We will be back. Just beautiful. Will responded almost immediately every time. Perfect weekend.
You are welcome any time.
Great retreat with all of the comforts of home!
The cabin was fantastic! It had everything you could ever need. The land and setting are very private. The deck was wonderful. We would definitely come stay again!
Very enjoyable stay!
We were greeted by deer in the mornings and evenings, and moose in the pond! Went rafting in the gentle St. Joe just across the street, and watched bald eagles trying to catch their dinner from the large front deck. Lovely walks nearby. The cabin had everything! Check before you buy supplies! Wi-Fi worked great, but cell service (Verizon works best) had a delay, which is just a common problem throughout the whole area.
Very clean owner very easy to deal with.
We got to the house and the owner had a fire going and the house warmed up. Clean bedding on all beds etc. Cable and internet worked with no problems. Looking to book next years hunting trip with him again.
We love the cabin, huge place very private.
We saw moose swimming on the pond, we saw a deer on the property, which what we love. We really enjoy our stay. The owner of the cabin is very quick to response on email.
First time on VRBO and I like it.
Beautiful property, well stocked but dirty and shabby
The property, outside, is very beautiful and peaceful. That said, it should be clear in the description, that there is no cell service and there is no land line phone service at this property. The wifi is unpredictable and only good for one person to use at a time. Seeing as we were in the area to purchase property ourselves, this posed quite a frustration for us. The living room furniture is very dilapidated, broken down and uncomfortable. When we arrived everything was dirty and dusty, which is understandable for a country home but I would suggest having the cleaning crew come closer to a guest arrival to do a once over. There was a dead mouse in the laundry area, also understandable for a country property. Will was prompt in having someone come and dispose of it and get the smell cleared up but we dealt with mice the remainder of our stay. Repeated attempts at contacting Will to notify him of issues or concerns failed because we were unable to get the wifi to work so we dealt with it, such as finding the mouse traps in the cabinet and putting them out on the counters at night in an attempt to catch the mice. We swept and mopped the floors, we cleaned the toilet and we cleaned the shower, at the beginning of our stay, not the end. We were simply cleaning up after the person before us which I should not have to do. I definitely would not recommend this property unless Will chooses to make some changes to his cleaning crew.
Thank you for onist response. True I pay somebody to clean and have not spent much time there because if a medical illness if you go there just to stay on the phone and wifi you should pick a hotel 5 star in a big city. Wifi is satalite.
