This elevated, OCEANFRONT home features a large, PRIVATE POOL with new premium Ipe decking and ELEVATOR and private boardwalk to the beach. The views are second to none and and every room has a beach view! Miles of pristine beach are just steps away! The interior has wood flooring throughout and the living room has vaulted ceilings, lots of windows, ceiling fans and a large, flat screen, LED TV with a premium audio and video system. Two master suites with cedar closets. Each bedroom enjoys its own bathroom, TV, ceiling fan and private deck with ocean views. The eat in kitchen has a connecting laundry with over sized washer and dryer and also provides direct access to the screen porch with a large table and chairs. Other features and amenities include an elevator, large gas grill, high speed-wireless Internet, a large collection of books, over 100 DVD's and 200 VHS tapes, including many Disney classics, kids room with toy chest, books and a custom made, natural wood pyramid bunk, a full spice rack for preparing the afternoons catch, beach supplies and cart and an enclosed beach shower with both hot and cold water. Many owner supplies extras:" Pack N Play", booster seat, stroller, child gate, beach chairs, child beach toys, pool toys and floats, and a ping pong table. (Fireplace is decorative only). "Other Bed" is a pyramid bunk with a twin on top and double on bottom and the two twins are a trundle. All new renovated bathrooms in spring of 2016 and newly renovated Kitchen to be completed spring of 2017.

Rented for 7 days; were allowed to stay only 4 days due to hurricane. Really loved the house and location. A/C not working upstairs upon arrival. Could not sleep in upstairs bedrooms on Saturday night. Housekeeping should have reported a/c on Saturday. Floor was dirty upon arrival.

The location and beach access of this property is wonderful. We appreciate that the owners have been updating their home (eg new bathrooms are great) but the kitchen is very outdated, living room furniture worn and uncomfortable and the screened porch is so dirty we did not use it. Our greatest concern was the cleanliness of the home. Island Realty is not caring for this property as we are sure the owners would expect. We called to voice our concern the day after we arrived, received a token apology and were transferred to housekeeping to leave a message. No one returned our call or came to clean properly. The floors were not swept or vacuumed, the porch chairs and table are covered in mold and mildew and the kitchen and laundry room were very dirty. We expressed the same concern when returning the keys at the end of the week and were promised a call from management. That has still not happened. We loved the area and the proximity to Charleston activities, great restaurants and the beach. If Island Realty would maintain the property properly we would recommend it, but will not duecso due to our experience.

Really loved the house and the location however the property was not very clean when we got there, several minor things could've been better. The sliding glass doors were impossible for a woman to open secondary to grunge, area around the pool cluttered with previous renters water bottles and soft drink cans, Carpet had not been vacuumed. After we policed the area around the pool deck and vacuumed the carpeting, we settled in for a wonderful time, and really enjoyed the home.

The location is fantastic! Most of the areas in the house are great like the family room, bed rooms and bath rooms and the pool - the kitchen is more than outdated (really belongs in a museum) and I am not sure how you would be able to prepare meals for 10 people on a stove that is so outdated that a pot of water takes 20 min to boil. Luckily we were only 6 people. Still a big challenge. Kitchen supplies are not adequate and I have never been in a rental house that does not have basic supplies like salt, pepper and sugar. Lots of spices but not the basics. There were a lot of mentioning of beach towels - we didn't see even one. Pool toys and floats were few and broken. Also, the house was not very clean. We found empty ice cups under one bed and lots of hair and dust, esp in the bed rooms. Lastly, there is a pretty noisy house construction going on right across the street. Large flatbed trucks in front of the house - putting a damper on a relaxing beach vacation. Overall not too pleased considering the price tag - but again, the location is great.

We loved the location of this house. Having our own beach access was the best! I loved being able to see the water from almost every room in the house. We enjoyed the pool as well. There are maintenance issues that need to be resolved. Also, the baby equipment listed is outdated. Kitchen appliances need updating. We would stay here again though and hope these things are taken care of.
